They've already figured out how to edit terrain in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is an even more advanced engine than Super Mario 64, so what's the hold up for Super Mario 64?

The fact that this thread is pointless since it's merely a rant... I call for instant closing.

I'm just wondering what's taking so long. It seems to be taking forever before anything big gets discovered.

You do realize there has been an editor in progress for SM64 for quite a while now, right?

Just be patient. You'll get your SM64 editing fix eventually.

Stop complaining and take up hex editing, learn some languages for the system and attempt to make your own editor.

Also, Zelda is not an "even more advanced engine than Super Mario 64", in fact, Zelda 64 uses a modified SM64 engine. The thing is, editors take people to make them, and you complaining and not making one yourself clearly shows you something doesn't it.

Answer this for me, do you know how to hack games yourself at all? Without the help of an editor? Do you know where to even start? If you don't then I rest my case, but if you do, like I said, make your own editor.

Let me set something straight... nobody is getting paid for doing what we are doing here, or to write an editor for the game you like. Things like these are getting done in people's free time, and can't be expected to be done anywhen except the usual "when they are done". Not contributing to SM64 hacking yourself, you are not in a position whatsoever to demand people work on it faster.

Besides, this thread is pointless for reasons my predecessor repliers already explained well enough.

Closed.
