It's true. You have a nicely-textured Bowser on the left, and a blob of vomit-colored polygon mess on the right.

Ordinary size modifications aren't too appealing, especially if they're in the same screen as a hideous HUD.

"you going to post a new update soon vl? And i found some new info for your editor unless you already know it and if you want me to post it let me know."

I thought you where going to shut up until he release it? I wish you would.

It seems that VL just updated his blog ( at last! )

Amongst other things, he's asking if dropping support for 800x600 screens would cause problems for some.

That link probably works for everyone except me, but here's a working version anyway. It is pretty awesome.

Anyone who still runs 800x600 obviously doesn't have a fast enough machine to support even running a N64 emulator.

On my old system I ran 800x600. My machine could run N64 Emulation quite well. I only had to use that video mode because of my monitor however.

800x600 FTL. However, for an invidual editor window to be that big seems pretty extreme.

*cough* Ahem.

I use 800x600, thank you very much. And I sure as hell am not forking over $200 for a new monitor just to be able to use this editor

If I were you I'd fork over $200 for a new monitor just to be able to not go blind. 800x600 is alright for Win98 if you don't do a whole lot at once, but it's just ugh if you want to multitask or use XP (even if you make things smaller from the control panel, it still seems too big). Not to mention it must be pretty old, so probably runs at 60hz which is AAAAGH THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING. Seriously, a 20" LCD monitor with 4ms response time and 1280x1024 is so worth the money.

Well, I finally got my SSBM castle back, after a complete search of my DVD backup. I discovered this:

Any ideas on how to fix this? I have replaced the beam with a solid color, and the hills turned solid light green. I can't figure it out, but I know the two are linked.

VL-Tone's new blog says that the reason why there has been slow progress is because of Super Paper Mario. Although he said he's almost finished, so I expect a release soon

You've changed the texture coordinates, I would assume.

Negative. I have only used "Overly/Color" in Photoshop. One would think it would be like everything else on the Castle. But, after some modifying...

Kinda better, but still not right.

Where in the game can you get a wing cap on a black background with grass? And I'm sure we have a GS cheat for what you've got there.

But oh well.
