Despite the lack of the Craziness Domain to put this in, I thought this thread needed to be restarted. I know posting in the last one was...lacking, but it's not really Acmlm's without Acmlm's Town Square, is it? ...Is it?

Anyway, here's hoping this can be more like ATS 7, that actually reached 5000 posts before being closed.

I wonder if this one'll be stick-ified like the others. The last one I always wanted to be more active in but I usually ended up being behind the current topic that was being talked about. Cheers to having this thread back, and the hope of 5000 posts for it in the future.

Is "tos" some kind of suffix that means "chip" ?

I mean, theres Dori-, Chee-, Fri-, Tosti- tos. And yet no Pringletos or Laytos. Hmm.

Heh, not so far as I know. It's just a way of pluralizing a noun in the Spanish language, at least the -s. -to is more of a masucline ending, usually.

Mostly they do that here in America because it kind of is synonymous with "chips" anymore, which is interesting, actually.

Nah, Legendary Thread 1 should go in the Display Case (if we ever get one), not be the Town Square. It's too legendary to be square.

I can definitely see why it would be, but I almost see legendary Thread 1 and Post 1 as being a separate entity to be honored in a separate way from the ATS. As BooUrns said, Display Case much.
