Posted by The KinsBy chance, were those DDP SPCs originally made for DarKnight/Shroomy's(whoever it was) cancelled SMAS SMB2-to-DDP hack? How many of the tunes did he recreate? Are they straight ports? Man, I'm asking too many questions. Anyway, they'd probably be useful for the patch, so please try to dig them up.Posted by icegoomBouche did SMAS SPCs of the DDP music, I'll try and dig them up if neccesary. icegoom: Yes, with this being a SMB2 music patch, I do want to squeeze in as much SMB2/DDP music as I possibly can. I just converted the Doki Doki Panic Subspace tune to N-SPC. It didn't take very long at all, though it is pretty lacking. Off topic, I sent Bouche an E-mail a few days ago, but I still haven't received a response. Either the e-mail address on his site is out of date, he doesn't want to respond because he doesn't know who the heck I am, or like most people, (including myself) he doesn't check them often. ____________________ |

Here's a bunch of SPCs of Bouche's from my archives: http://www.sendspace.com/file/eo8oh5
It contains DDP SMAS-ised (so it's all fancy and shit), music from a never-surfaced hack/game, SML2, SM64 and MK64. |

or special world, or even one of the unused spaces, it has a nice smooth melody.... ____________________ |

Sorry for saying this again, but did anyone (or specifically Mattrizzle)
make a patch containing a SMW remake of Track 1 of Hebereke.nsf? NOTE: I already told Mattrizzle to do it, this is the 2nd (Hopefully FINAL)Reminder because of the release of the N-SPC Documents in the past threads (Containing EVERYTHING to convert from MIDI). I am too BUSY to make the conversion to SPC myself right now. EDIT: Deleted the rest myself due to me being strict again (A little, I Guess) EDIT 2: Ignore the Bottom two please, since I deleted most of this. ____________________ Mah boi, romhacking is what all true warriors strive for! I'm in a little late, but WHOA DEATH MOUNTAIN
That's one of my favourite video game tunes ever. I can't wait to see it in a Mario hack. Reeeally nice work Xk: rofl |

Ooh, I'd never heard Bouche's music from other games. (At least now I know where the star music from the SMB3 music patch came from. Not an existing Mario game, but an original composition) Listening to your subspace music, Mattrizzle, I'd say that maybe a drum track of some sort might make it sound a bit better. (A beat similar to SMB3's, I guess) |

Posted by icegoomThe star music in the SMB3 music patch was actually based on the Yoshi's Island star music. As for the subspace SPC file, that was a just a test to see if I could recreate it. I never added it to the patch. So yeah, if I do make a version of my own, it will use several instruments. I really want to add Bouche's arrangement of the DDP subspace tune to the patch. For some reason it's very hypnotizing! It would like to get his permission first (if he even cares, that is), but I don't know if the e-mail address I have for him is even his current one(he didn't respond). ____________________ |

Indeed, it's very hypnotizing. Anyway, if Bouché should not mind using his N-SPC files in SMW, I really would suggest using bs2-03 or bs2-04 as a boss music for Bowser or the other Koopas. |

I use a plugin for Winamp to listen to .spc's, but there's all kinds of programs you can use to play them.
Ha ha, that pipe music sticks with you long after you stop listening to it. Very nice work with the whole "underground" instrumentation. |

Um.. lets see.. their is a simular tune in SML2 you could use.. sounds better to.. has a few more notes. I am sorry, i do not mean to be rude.. but seriosly.. it really does hurt to lsten to it after awhile. |

The SML cave song was only meant to be heard for a short while as you cleared out a room of coins or item boxes. There is indeed a similar song in SML2 though, that might be more fitting. |
