Why in the world would you screw all schooling?
Getting an education is probably one of the greatest things you can do for yourself in life. You're not going to get anywhere without a solid head on your shoulders, as well as the social skills and respect you learn during these years. You should be more appreciative. >8( |

Posted by Danielle I agree with Xk, and therefore negate your normative truth statement that education is intrinsically valuable. "Education" is something that marginalizes whoever tries to deviate from the norm, and propagates a mechanical thought process. Therefore, not only does education have very much value, the normalized approach to education is in itself harmful. Nonetheless, history is easy, it all fits together. |

Of course, my latest ice cream addiction is coffee flavored ice cream. No other tastes quite right after having sampled that incredible coffee flavor. ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

This whole thread reminds me to make a new layout. My old one is broken times ten, the coding is terrible anyway. It'll be a good test for how much I don't remember in CSS! ____________________ I like gay porn. It's hot ![]() |

I drove to school to figure out what the hell the bell schedule was, since I knew the standardized testing we were doing today would screw it up. I felt pretty failed by the fact that I, being a senior, didn't have to be there the whole day.
I went back home and kicked some ass at the hax, though, so pwnt As for the half a week before today, my failures generally involved sucking at the aforementioned hacking business. Irony for the wtf |

There's no hardware/software forum, so I guess that I should post it here.
For some reason, my computer seems to interpret some web addresses incorrectly and sends me to the wrong server. I know about two addresses so far that doesn't work. board.acmlm.org is one of those (Please. No "OMFG THAT IS SUXX BORED" comments). Here's what I know about the problem: board.acmlm.org directs me to "server.host1up2.com". Both Firefox and IE are affected. It can't be my router, connection nor ISP, as my brother's computer (connected using the same router) hasn't got this problem. Disabling my firewall doesn't fix the problem. Does anybody have the slightest idea of what the problem might be? ____________________ ![]() |

I've only been at the guitar for about 3 or 4 years (as opposed to the 8 or so I've been at the drums and keyboard), so you would imagine I'm not exactly spectacular. I own an electric, its a Fender Squire so really nothing to call home about, but I guess it gets the job done (and as I get better I'll probably purchase a better one). I recieved an Ibanez bass guitar for Christmas and have been absolutely loving it. I guess with a little practice I could be better at both.
I play mostly rock or metal-esque stuff with my guitar, though lately I've been seeing if I can follow along to some J-ROCK and J-POP songs. Music in generaly is really my life, I love to write my own songs. I do most of that via the piano/keyboard though lately I've been seeing what I can come up with via the guitar alone. I tend to come up with guitar parts to my songs in my head and work them out with the computer, then record them in afterwards. I'm hoping to make a career out of writing music some day. Music is truly the greatest gift I've ever been given, so in writing stuff, I'd like to be able to give a little bit back for others to enjoy as well ![]() |

I've had the same problem for a few years now, although almost certainly to a much greater extent. Most days I feel as though I've gone completely retarded. I've had two CAT scans, numerous blood tests, and a meeting with a neurologist, and they all tell me I'm "normal." Ha ha ha. I guess being completely muddle-headed and uncoordinated to the point of mangling simple sentences and tripping over my own feet is "normal" nowadays!
I guess the closest I've come to any sort of diagnosis is depression and anxiety, though I'm almost certain it's something more (I think I'm anxious and depressed BECAUSE of this problem!). My subconscious keeps telling me I have some kind of brain damage or slowly-progressing disease, but then I go and create something like this, in a matter of hours, with no prior programming experience... sigh. I'm so confused. ![]() ____________________ [citation needed] |

I like square islands... but if you're willing to take a crack at it, I could let you be a beta tester / OW editor. Of course, I'd like all the help I can get. |
