Call me an idiot, but if this is called "Super Mario Universe III - The Gates of Chaos (SS)", would there a Super Mario Universe I & II ? If yes, then could one or several point out where to find such hacks? (If no, then don't answer.)

I'm all up for a locations FAQ that Outbr3ak expressed about (something like that cannot concern me yet).

I feel guilty about using Infinite Life code in regards to part of the Hell's Run in Norfair only to the point where the enemies regenerate two areas to the right of the elevator entrance to Norfair from Brainstar (someone say what the enemy is? I'd be grateful). From the enemy spawn point and beyond, I turned off the code since I was able to get the third Energy Tank and the Ice Beam.

No offense, Drewseph, but to get through Norfair to the enemy spawning point is beyond my somewhat veteran abilities for this game. Good hack so far, but damn if it isn't too hard for me at that point in the game, not matter how hard I tried to save time. I'm not able to Infinite bomb jump, diagonal bomb jump, speedball, mochball, Blue suit or single wall jump that well, but thank goodness for the skills I already have.

Now enough digressing. I got the Varia Suit, but I am now stuck between the Ripper area in Brainstar, and in Norfair, I can't go beyond the lava filled room just below the room where the Ice Beam is located and the room above the Map Grid because I don't have Grapple Beam or Power Bombs. A direction of where to go next would really help me.

EDIT: I have used savestates, particulary for bomb jumping to get the third energy tank.

Oh goody. That would've been REALLY nice to know. That way I wouldn't have to had used that infinite life code to get to the enemy spawn spawn beyond the Energy Tank room in Norfair. Just so you know, I turned it off as soon as I regenerated my health.

If that is the case, then how about saying where that 3rd tank is and the way to go after getting the Varia Suit?

I believe I asked where to go in my original post, so I was expecting an answer (not that you shouldn't be impressed about me getting to Norfair with only two tanks. I *had* used savestates).

Hint: Its in Red Brinstar, in a single room with many spikes and one of those red mouths.

So basically, what your saying is is that the 3rd energy tank is in the same room as the missile expansion that increases your missile count by 10? I want it to be clarified since there's more than one spike room in red Brainstar.

Yo! I asked if the location of the 3rd energy tank is in the same room with spikes that the missile expansion that increases your missile count by 10, and I expect a response. Now I realize that questions tend to be unanswered on this board, but in other places, questions actually get answered. No disrespect, but the standards here have got to be raised.

Also, Drewseph, you might wanna change the version number to something like v1.61 or v1.7 since you made modifications. Matter of fact, why not say, in the readme, what you fixed so they can't be exploited....and I want an answer for my original question!

Seriously, Drewseph, modify the text on your site so it reflects the changes that you made to the hack yesterday. v1.7 or v1.61; at least make it so that people know there's a different version.

Always nice to see Slick the Slacker post updates whenever he can. When he isn't busy with his life, he sometimes forgets that he had a site to post his progress reports via a diary.

This forgetfulness would last from as few as a couple weeks to as much as 3-4 months. This annoyed those that would email him often (Like me ).

I applaud the first Mario Adventure hack you did since I still own the hack and all, but enough digressing.

Why is the Luigi vs Mario hack dead? Did you lose interest in it? Too much of a hassle via specific details? Not enough time to devote to it anymore?

What...exactly happened?

(I was one of the original ones that pointed out, in Mario Adventure, that in the final level of Bowser's Castle, Bowser's room had something wrong with it and thus there was no floor and the player would only end up dying. We thank you again for fixing that major glitch up.)

EDIT: Oh, I see now. I didn't see the "brother reinstalled Windows over everything I had" sentence till now.

Items:

-Boomerang (Lvl 1)
-Bombs (20 max)
-Mushroom/Magic Powder
-Lamp
-Magic Hammer
-Net
-Bottle (1; bought in Mystic Forest)

Equipment:

-Sword (Lvl 1)
-Shield (Lvl 1)
-Green Tunic
-Pegasus Boots
-Zora Scale

Thus far, I have this much and completed Nayru's Bay and Din's Catacombs. If I could be informed of what items or equipment can be obtained between now and Farore's Isle, I would be indebted and appreciable to said person/people.

I have attempted to follow Deflaktor's guide for Impa's Ways and have obtained the Tablet, the Big Chest Key and the Big Door Key. My only problem is that I had to stumble my way to the boss room twice (didn't save the first time) and I still haven't found the treasure chest yet because a couple arrows that should lead to the final rooms are...inaccurate.

I would be indebted to those that give helpful advice (i.e. not "Keep looking, you'll eventually get it.") on how to remember the path to the large chest and boss room. This way, I won't kick myself for not knowing, for sure, the way to the room (I'm a picky fanatic for certain details at times).

I looked at the map one last time and it becomes inaccurate after the 7th warp of the path that leads directly to the big chest of Impa's Ways when entering from the Castle Site. I've honestly tried different combinations to warp to the part of the dungeon where the big chestresides, but no such luck.

I'm done hopelessly wandering in that dungeon because it is frustrating (not hard) to put forth effort in that thing while all the time returning to near entrance time and time again. Innovative dungeon, but no offense: I'm done goofing in there and I'll be on my way. I just ask what the dungeon is, and if I'm PMed the exact directions, that's fine, but if not, oh well.

I, too, have the same curiousity as to which levels I am missing. So far I have found the 2nd exits for the following areas:

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

World 1: Mario's Castle, Kamek's Magic Castle, The Lost Woods

World 2 :Adventure Hill, Temple of Doom

World 3: Rice Beach

World 4: Saws, Green Greens, Grand Canyon, Ice Temple

World 5: Cheese Building #2

World 6: Ruined Ruins, Bombs and Bullets

World 7: Rhino-Oil, Gravity Control, Kamek's Hideout

I'm not sure which levels, that I currently have access to, have second exits. If I could be told which ones they are, I would be indebted to said person/people.

In Shiek's Hideout, there was a dark room with the Mysterious Tablet and under one of the skull pots was a button. I pressed it, game slightly paused, and the sound of something being uncovered/unlocked (not a chest appearing) was played. What was it that happened?

Nabooru's Hole. Path to the Boss. More lost than a woman in a car during a snowstorm attempting to read a state map at night. I am not meaning to offend the females. I am hoping for some guidance (seeing as how I keep falling into the hard to find holes but still going to floor B8).

Edit:

MogGuy (For post below): I appreciate and thank you for helping me, however I'm gonna need additional guidance since I have exhausted combination after combination of the holes.

Is it castle 2 or 5 that has a secret exit? Either of the Aquarias? I must know! Please say what leads to the other several hidden levels.

Well, I have an idea: Clues to the path of the boss for Nabooru's Hole. In fact, I would appreciate some ASAP.

Seems the top-left hole on F2 of Nabooru's Hole IS the hole to reach el Bosso. Again, I suggest vague clues for this dungeon so one can get at least get around without being frustrated for no reason.

Edit: Also, I have defeated the boss for Shiek's Hideout, but I am still missing the Big Chest. What is the path to the chest?

For the first level, in the Lost World, I am lost in finding the route to the alternate exit. Must find a way to get to the switch for it. Asking for help.

*sigh* ONE...key...is all that separates me from getting the prize(s?) of the red path for Dark Parallel Tower (aka Parallel Tower of Dark World). I got the key from floor six, but I forget the location of a key I got and the location of the other key. Which floors, other than six, are the keys located on?

Edit: Okay, nevermind. Found the locations on page 11.

Edit: I would also like to know where Bombos Medallion are at. (Found Staff of Bryna)

For the final dungeon, are the trials in it all about the final boss or is that in the second quest?
