Kire: "Purifcation? I can wield plenty of holy power myself, I can contact my God directly if need be. A God's strength should far surpass any mortal weapon, assuming my God decides to help."

Zeron: "Perhaps, and perhaps not. But there is only one way to find out."

Kire: "Well, I should wield at least the strongest Holy Aura here. I'm not underestimating Schwa, but his power is split between Holy and otherwise. I am a pure, uncorrupt Holy user."

Zeron: "And I can tap into yoru strength with your Double Soul. So that would add to the damage."

Kire: "Ahh... well... I've never actually used my full strength. I would be exhausted for months if I did. Nothing has ever challenged me with that much strength, though a few could have died faster if I did."

Zeron: "Anyways, what relevent information do we currently have and what are our plans for our next course of action?

Kire: Strong dark powers.

Kire falls straight to the ground from the kick and makes a huge crater.

Kire: That took a lot out of me. I can't continue for long, I need to escape this area. My Sword... I'll have to activate my Soul Link and gain it back sometime in the future.

Kire pulls out the Chaos Orb and throws it to his Side, opening a Chaos Gate.

Kire: Even if Star went in with me, there is no sure thing that he will end up in the same area. The powers of Chaos work well sometimes.

Kire moves his body towards the open Gate.

Kire: "Heh, nothing can stop the Chaos Gate. You sealed the wrong thing, you should have sealed the Orb. All you did was throw your Seal through the Gate."

Kire: Now, to project my Soul Link and move my Swords Soul into a new blade. I'll finish up with that once I get there. Nothing short of a god can destroy that Sword's Soul, since it came from a God's hand.

Kire, with a burst of energy, flings himself through the Gate.

OOC: Interesting Battle. .

OOC: Indeed I have. But Kire has his own purification in mind.

Zeron: "Damn, Solar Power. Pure or Dark, Solar Power is a weakness of mine. I don't enjoy the weakness, but Solar power can annilate me. If you do that sort of purification, then make sure I'm not around to get the residual energy discharge. It could very well kill me..."

Kire: "I'm pretty sure assuming my form would stop you from taking the damage. You would take little damage from holy attacks while using me."

Zeron: "I suppose... but Dark Solar Power could still do me in."

Realizing that they may not know what he is talking about...

Zeron: "Oh, well. Where I come from, Solar power is not always Pure. In fact, there is the DarkGunDelSol. Dark PileDriver, you name it."

Kire: "Sounds, powerful."

Zeron: "DarkPileDriver... it may be able to reverse the effects of a Pile Driver if done in the exact same location as well. Beware of reverse Purification."

Kire: "Hmm... my way would be more permanent. Just annilate him with Holy energy and throw his Soul into Chaos."

Zeron: "And your way is much harder to pull off."

Kire: "True enough."

Zeron: "Reverse Purification is only a theroy though. It has never been tested, because noone wants those vampires back! But, Some of those of the Light have been subject to Reverse Purification and were annilated, then brought back by a Purification. At least, in my world that is how it worked."

Kire: "Don't forget, you can use Dark Chips, Zeron."

Zeron: "Ah yes, I could explain that. Ahem, with the Shadow energy flowing through me I can wield both pure and evil battlechips, and even DarkChips without suffering karma loss or gain. Even moreso, I can convert a DarkChip into a ShadowChip. I do the same with Solar Chips. ShadowChips are laced with both pure and dark energies, neither one nor the other."

Kire: "Using evil..."

Zeron: "We already had that arguement, Kire. Anyway, ShadowChips are usually of the Shadow Element. A chip of the Shadow Element does not have to be a ShadowChip. Just bear with me here... I can use the Coverted DarkChip at 3/4ths its original power without any ill side effects."

Zeron: "Ok, on your point... in my world the evil data was always around. Therefore, DS battlechips aren't as uncommon there as you say they are here. In fact, I have quite a few of them. I have a lot of Battlechips stored away in seperate folders, ready to be brought out."

Zeron: "Lastly, on Django... I can convert all Solar Chips into Shadow Element Chips, and create a Shadow Purification. Unfortunatly, Shadow Element opposes Solar and that ability won't be terribly useful. It doesn't seem your world has felt the powers of Shadow quite like mine has, but Shadow Element Chips were plentiful as well. Like Shadow Rush, a Standard 1 battlechip."

Kire: "..."

Zeron: "Sorry, I'm rambling on. Any questions?"

Kire opens the bottle and fills the small cup, sipping from it as he looks around the place. Zeron just sits there next to Kire, uninteresting in the surronding activities.

Zeron: "How much of this Weapon Data do you have? My databanks are near empty... I haven't the time to collect Weapon Data."

Zeron: "Time to test out something that has been itching in the back of my head. Room for two... Kire?"

Kire: "I know what you are thinking. Its the same thing you did in 'The World' to get us onto the cybernet."

Zeron: "This is somewhat different you see... nevermind. Let's get in there!"

Kire: Data format again...

Zeron: Navi half, dominate!

Zeron: "First, let's combine our souls! ShadowFusion!"

Kire: "..."

Shadow Energies envelop the two, quickly coming and leaving, leaving only one body. It appears to be Zeron's Armor under Kire's Kimono, a Japanese Sword at the Fusion's side, and a manglem of facial features.

ZeronKire: "This always feels strange, and unstable. Let's get in there... Data format, Reverse Jack Out!"

ZeronKire disappears into the ceiling as the Reverse Jack Out takes effect, forcing the Fusion into Maverick Hunter Area 2.

ZeronKire: So strange, duel thoughts. Yes, I thought the same thing... ... Ok. Let's not do this too often. Hurts our head. Agreed. Who's thought was that? Yours? Arg, we could lose our identies like this. Right, lets unfuse once we arrive. How does Reverse Jack Out work? Trick of the Trade, manipulating Data, ShadowEnergy, and magic until it does. Right, right...

ZeronKire arrive in a strange fashion, like they Jacked Out only instead of going to a PET they ended up here...

ZeronKire: "Ok, arrived. Stablizing Soul patterns... 2 Soul patterns identified. Converting Soul patterns into format compatable with 'net.... instability detected. Rerouting power to offset imbalence. Beginning Seperation sequence."

Shadow energy envelops the being and starts seperating into 2 seperate forms, both looking exactly like their original forms. The process takes a little time as the battle ensues and finishes. The shadow energy fades out and leaves two disoriented figures.

Kire: "That was worse then the first time."

Zeron: "You said in, instability... I wonder why we were so unstable this time around."

Kire: "Well... hey. They've started without us."

Zeron and Kire look at the battle occuring.

Zeron: "Doesn't look like we can be of much help, our intrusion might ruin their teamwork."

Kire: "Let's get ready for backup, charge your weapons and I'll gather my energy."

Kire starts to gather holy energy and the data around him starts to grow unstable.

Kire: "What?"

Zeron: "This plane of existance is adapting to your holy energy I'd guess.. I hope we don't influence the world too much by coming here. See, it happens around me too."

Data around Zeron starts to grow unstable as Zeron starts to glow black with charging Shadow Energy. The unstable data calms down after a short while.

Kire: "Well, let's wait until opportunity comes."

Zeron: "I just hope we have to delete him. It would a lot more difficult to attempt a capture of some sort."

At the seeming end of the battle as Botos attempts to run away.

Zeron: "Now..."

Kire: "Right..."

Zeron aims carefully at Botos with his buster as Kire joins in the Aiming with his left hand.

Zeron: "Blending of energies..."

Kire: "Pure and Shadow..."

Zeron: "Syncronize with your might!"

Zeron and Kire: "Holy Shadow Twister of Fates!"

Zeron and Kire erupt with all of their stored energy, twin energy blasts, both Whtie and Black, quickly merging together near the two. The energies twine and surge with eachother, turning into a twister of sorts as both white and black dance along the energy blast. The energy dances back and forth, keeping its point at Botos, Locked on by Shadow energy. Time seems to stop as the point of the blast almost envelops Botos...

OOC: I was hoping I didn't do something I shouldn't have . This blast of energy is 'enveloping'. In other words, its going to slam into Botos and the energy is going to flow around and past him, constantly striking him at all sides of his body, including his back, with a constant stream of energy. Oh what fun I can have with so much stored energy...

Now breathing heavily from the usage of so much energy...

Zeron: "We got him. Think we overdid it?"

Kire: "No, he was completely whiped out. That is what we wanted to do."

Zeron: "To bad we will never again get such a chance to gather so much energy at one time to launch."

Kire: "We could... but it is unlikely. So, what now?"

Zeron: "Well, guess we can hang around here and help out..."

Kire: "Yes, but how are we going to leave the 'net?"

Zeron: "Uhh.. well, you see that... I'm not exactly sure how. Last time we just used the Chaos Orb and we were good. In fact, we were probably still in data format until we came here anyway..."

Kire: "Well, start thinking. The Chaos Orb is no good, it's target location is unspecific."

Ok, here is something...

Change the Status Bar to display a new Counter called... Zenny Counter. 3/4 digits.

Then make a block that would put a powerup into your Item Box and take away from the Zenny Counter if there is enough Zenny.

Finally, make a block that acts like a Coin, but instead puts 1/5/10 in the Zenny Counter.

This would be soo awesome..

Zeron: "Well, I've really got nothing. The Chaos Orb is our only bet right now, and its too chaotic."

Kire: "The irony... well, we should contact those guys."

Zeron: "Hey, yea... wait.. where the heck did they go?"

Zeron and Kire look around seeing nobody around.

Zeron: "Erg.. looks like I'll have to tap into my Navi side to get us out of this fix. They might have a teleporter that can take us..."

Kire: "Well, get on it."

Zeron: "Uhh... what the heck would their e-mail addresses be..."

Kire: "This is going to take some time, isn't it?"

Zeron: "Don't worry, just let me conentrate."

A troop of Mettaur viruses approach the two.

Kire: "What the heck are those strange creatures?"

Zeron: "Oh.." Not looking up "Those are probably a band of viruses. I recognize that sound, must be Mettaurs. Don't worry, they are the weakest of their kind and probably won't attack us. Unless they are blue of course."

The troop of blue Mettaur viruses all pull out their pickaxes and start swinging.

Zeron: "Nope, Mettaur are the weakest..."

Kire: "..."

Kire grabs Zeron and jumps high are far onto a platform without direct connection to the one they were on."

Zeron: "Are you insane? If you didn't make that jump, we'd go into the void."

Kire: "Those blue Mettaurs were ready to strike."

Zeron: "Well, they wouldn't have been too hard."

Kire: "...let's get out of here."

Zeron: "Right, here it is I believe. E-mails for all of them. Havn't lost the hacking touch yet."

Zeron sends E-mails to david and forte, trying to get their attention and explain that they don't have a clue as to how to get back.

Kire: "I just hope this works."

Zeron: "I just hope I sent those to the right address."

Well, I was thinking along the lines of not allowing powerups to go into the item box normally, disabling the falldown, ((Both of which I have done)) and having some of the blocks throw in things like, say Koopa Troopas or Goombas. Much more expensive than others, but they can allow you to get into secret areas...

Even if you leave the normal power-ups as is, you could still throw in rare items in hard-to find shops like a P-ballon or something. Changing tilemaps to force any sprite you want into a normal sprite ((I've done it with spiny )) and you have something that can be required to find secrets or even required to continue on with the game. ((Or just make the game easier to continue on)).

Hmm... can't stop the sprites in the item box not getting stuck in the top of the screen... either ignore that fact or somehow change to offset of the sprite unleashed based on what is up there. Basically, only allow normal powerups to spawn up there while forcing others to be produced much closer to mario. Wouldn't stop the problem, but would allow a little more flexability in level making...

Well, I'm starting to ramble on with the possibilities. Any other opinions?

--I was just going to use it as described on top, the only way to have secondary life savers.--

Kire: "It cetainly looked like they were going to attack."

Zeron: "Whatever, let's get back."

Zeron and Kire walk up the ramp and take a route on their right. They find a teleporter protected by a gate. The gate opens and Zeron and Kire step into the teleporter, letting it take them wherever they need to go.

Zeron and Kire both step off the platform and Kire sighs...

Kire: "I still feel like I'm in data format."

Zeron: "Lemme check..."

Zeron does a quick scan on Kire and looks surprised...

Zeron: "Why the... you still are in data format. The teleportation didn't correct the transfiguration from your entrance into Cyberworld. There are good things and there are bad things to still being in data format."

Kire: "Great... tell me later. I'm getting tired." Kire yawns. "Is there anywhere to sleep around here?"

Zeron: "Hmm... I'd better do some research into that method that we did, the Reverse Jack Out. Well, I never sleep so I've got 8 hours or so without you to research..."

Hmm... hey here is a fun idea.

Make a Time Limit for all powerups beyond Mushroom. Just like the Star, you can only have them for so long. Then you revert to Big Mario. Big Mario would be the only form that you can use Spin Jump as well.

Could make a very interesting Gameplay. The ItemBox could be your only means of winning a level.

Course, this would take quite a bit of ASM i'd assume.
