I find this one to be very funny, partially perhaps because I was the one who decided to start the idea that she did.

...unless she really does, in which case it was keen investigative reporting. Yeah, I think I'll go with that one.

Yeah, but an activity spike for just a couple of days isn't going to affect what happens in the monthly standings all that much.

Christopher Lee FTW. That was about what I imagined DiZ sounding like...but wow, Christopher Lee just does an excellent job with it. I really hope he shows up more as the game goes on than he has thus far...

I don't think they could make THAT many good episodes of Trogdor. I like some homestar runner things, and I've liked some of the strongbad emails I've seen...but really, honestly, I don't get the hype. They're decent, but hardly amazing.

I just keep telling you, Danielle, denial is very unhealthy. But you just don't seem to listen.

On a completely random note, is this thread supposed to be titled "Any kinks (or fetishes) of yours?" as opposed to And? Because "And" just doesn't seem to make sense here...but I don't see how someone would really make that typo.

Yeah, but while you were working, you were making money. While we were posting, we were making fake money. And now we have all the best equipment on the boards, but...it's meaningless.

And yet you lose, at the same time. I think it really depends largely on what you DO with that money...because you could end up losing even more if you spent it on something stupid

I think your attempt at "help" might work a bit better if you didn't come off so harshly. Motivational kinds of things tend to work a lot better than "you suck, change"...but you do have some good points.

Though one thing is, even if people have 50 years left, it's not really the same...once you start work, start getting older...so you may have lots of time left, but not too much of it is the same as what you're going through now.

Speaking of Final Fantasy VI (and in a way I feel bad putting links in here):

Terra's Lament

Really, it's very true. The game really has a lot of focus for the first half or so. And I like the second half of the game a lot, as I actually enjoy the nonlinearity quite a bit. But it really seems that they trade focus away to get that, and the game just seems...lost, a lot of the time. Still, the scene where you get the airship...again...is always enjoyable, and though that music gets tiresome (since it's the overworld music AND the airship music from then on) it's wonderfully uplifting there.

I think the problem may not be that "not being harsh doesn't work" but rather that your non-harsh methods aren't the best. I know that BEING harsh probably isn't for the best, since it really tends to push people away, and they think you're just not worth listening to, and so even if you have the best advice, they won't really be in the mood to listen to it.

So I think it's safe to say now that Danielle definitely has a technology-based fetish. The question now is whether it's guns, robots, or some bizarre combination of the two.

Maybe this gets her hot:

((I think Glenn is still in the car, and JD is up top))

Nova: What a dick.

The rogue decided a bit of a show was in order, but at the same time, practicality first. JD could probably stop the ones towards the back, and Johnathan the ones in the middle, but if the robbers stopped the engine, that would be another whole matter entirely. Nova decided he should see to it that this wouldn't happen.

The train had at this point started moving through a valley, with rock walls not too far away on either side, but hardly cramped. Still, the track was oddly curved around here, not nearly as straight as would be natural. Nova supposed the engineers decided to use the valley's natural bends rather than blowing holes through it. Still, it wasn't so bad as to prevent him from moving up the train.

And this he did. Slipping by JD, making sure to note his presence so the guy didn't get surprised and fire off a round, the rogue leapt to the next car, on which were a few bandits, who found themselves bowled over, one knocked off the train and the others just off their feet, as Nova ran over it and jumped to the next one. As he was about to do the same to the bandits on that car, he decided it was time to do something else entirely.

Nova: Crap!

With that, the rogue threw himself to the flat top of the car as the back of the train passed through the tunnel the passengers had wanted a bit earlier. A few bandits flew past him...or rather he sped past them as he went into the tunnel with the train and they remained outside. He only hoped the others in his group had noticed. That could be messy otherwise.

More likely is that he saw the joke but decided that it must not be good because it didn't go with exactly the direction in which his mind was heading.

But it was an amusing read. What...exactly...is that, anyway?

So Colin, are you still presenting trophies at the end of the month?

I remember at some point I decided I wanted to make medals/ribbons for places 4-10, since to me 1-3 being everything and 4-10 being nothing struck me as a bit wrong. I never actually did that, though.

I seem to continue to fail at asking the question I want to ask, Grey. In this one I'm not saying she necessarily wants to cast it out of your life...just that she's not really going to be a part of it, she's not going to play and doesn't really feel like sitting around watching you play.

One of the reasons I ask is because I'm curious about others' take on this, since I may have that very choice to make one of these days...
