Well, the good thing about a schedule full of AP classes is that they're over a bit sooner around the end of the year, and you get out of the boring intro classes at college.

Danielle, YD told me ALL about your firearm fetish. I've got to say, I hope you two don't load those guns when you use them that way. That could be messy.

I think that if Xkeeper wrote in an unban timer, then when it got to zero, rather than unbanning the user, it would erase all traces of that user's existence. And not just on the board, but on all of the internet. Somehow.

I can just see some day you write your posts in place of an essay and your essay in place of your posts. That'll just be an awkward situation for all parties involved.

I think it's so as many people as possible can feel awkward at one time.

Just think how awful it must've been this past year to be named Katrina.

Actually, at this point I think it would be funnier if no one actually explained it to you and you gradually figured it out yourself.

Revelations like that are nice to get.

I guess it was supercop that I found who busted me in my Hunter in Vice City that one time when I was flying over the ocean. That was just really, really messed up.

And then there was the one time I lost a random encounter in DQ8 when an enemy used the "Death Dance" which killed 3 of my party members, and another enemy used it and killed the last one.

Well, that last issue of alternate forms of recreation also brings up an altogether more important issue that was brought up in the thread, and that is a means of relaxation. What I've noticed with a number of my friends who smoke up is that they use getting high as a coping mechanism of sorts. That's fine every now and then, but it really seems like that is becoming the only thing they're able to do, rather than deal with problems in other ways, even more so the more they get used to it.

And from a psychological perspective, that would make sense. You have a problem, you deal with it in one way and it feels better, you're likely to deal with it again that same way in the future. It's very self-reinforcing that way, and so even if not physically addictive, it's very psychologically addictive, and that's something that should not be downplayed.

I'm not going to try to come into full discussion in this thread again, as the tone borders on hostile at times, but I think this is an important point to bring up.

I think the magazine is still coming out, actually. Probably more politically correct than it was when I was a kid, but otherwise likely unchanged for the most part. I liked it a lot, all of it. I remember making several of the craft projects they had, too.

Well, yes, you CAN dress her as a bunny girl, but I think he was asking about her default costume. You can also dress her in two bustiers that change her appearance...one is the worst armor in the game stat-wise, and one is in fact the best. And then there's the dancer's costume, and her original clothes, in addition to her normal outfit. So she's got at least 6 costumes.

The hero has an extra costume too, with the post-game armor and helmet equipped (contrary to what some have said, you don't need the matching shield or sword equipped for this). Still, I wish they had included his Trodain-soldier costume (since after all, as seen in cutscenes it IS in the game, even if not fully animated), as well as additional costumes for Angelo and Yangus.

Thankfully, no, I don't think we've gotten so far as to put that specific warning labels on things.

We do have labels on fireworks warning you not to aim them at your face.

As both a reasonable individual and the son of a corporate defense litigator, I am frankly appalled at the sue-happy nature of this country that necessitates these things.

Well, Colin, if you go back through several of these threads, you'll see how much of it is Danielle and asdf posting back and forth, for the most part. As I learned myself back when I cared about the ACS (which I admittedly did for a couple months), that helps you and the other person separate from the rest of the posters, but it's not really going to help you gain ground on your 'opponent'...
