Nova: I always wonder about how "civilized" places might be with more technology. Guns don't seem to have been much good in civilizing places like this...about as wild as anywhere, if not more so.

Nova looked at the remains of the robot.

Nova: She really did a number on that thing.

On the normal, on the console, yes. The game is almost permanently stuck in my NES at home, as it's one of the only games my mom plays, as well as one of the few games I've played on that system since I got my PS2 on Christmas in 2002.

The Monty Python foot could squish that spider, easily, along with anyone or anything else it felt the need to splat.

See, in administrative time, one day is approximately 34 hours. This was determined at the Council of Trent at some point between 1545 and 1563, and canon law dictated, in addition to this, that none of it would ever make sense to anyone.

Playing chess with death....have you seen The Seventh Seal or are you merely using that as a strange analogy with no thought as to the reference to an awesome movie that you are making?

"Mr. Brightside" by The Killers

I really like this song, but I didn't always used to. The first time I heard it I thought it was pretty bad, actually. What's funny about it is that I was talking to Amanda at the time, and she was the one who sent the song to me. My telling her I thought it was just ok started her off on a rant that ended up having her blocking me...again...she tended to block me over weird things only to unblock me again not too long later. And this song was one of them.

Dazed and Confused...that was the title of my livejournal. Still is, actually, but due to some various things I decided I wouldn't write in it anymore.

Anyway, welcome to the boards, hope you have fun here. It's a good group of people.

I've constantly been too worried about what other people think of me. That's been one of the defining characteristics of who I am, unfortunately.

I've been told that to be really mature is to just not care what others think of you. While rather simplistic, there's certainly a grain of truth in that. Realize that you are your own person, and the people who can be your best friends are the people who will like you as who you are.

There's actually a picture of steve...err, Kirb, that I found online at one point while searching for info on Danicess, which I would have posted here, but I can't seem to find it, sadly. And yes, he is nice, usually. Sometimes a bit unreasonable though, in relation to his view on certain story elements.

Well in that case, then a BIGGER Monty Python foot would come out of the sky and splat the normal one.

The problem with getting it from a really hard secret boss and/or dungeon is that it kind of defeats the point. Once your powerful enough to beat the boss/dungeon that's really hard, you really have no use for the power afforded you by having this incredibly powerful weapon.

If it's really that important for monetary reasons, I suppose do what is necessary, but only if it really is absolutely necessary. The one at the bottom really doesn't bother me much at all, but if one goes above the threads, that'll be pretty annoying.

edit: 1234th post! Ah sequences.

See, I wouldn't have gotten that at all had I not gone to Cymru back in January. But I did, and as such I find that very amusing.

That's awesome.

*checks date*

And it's not April 1st. Yay! Futurama was a great show, not as good as the Simpsons when it first came out, but dare I say it better than the Simpsons in the more recent declining years. I'm looking forward to new episodes.

Basically, it seems to me like they're taking what has been done as a decent concept before, and just sucking all the goodness out of it. I haven't played or seen much of .hack, but I know that part of the premise involves something like this, with players falling into comas because of things happening in the game. This is just lame...then again, most horror movies tend to be.

Oh, Microsoft Tetris wasn't really THAT bad, I mean, it got the key parts of the game, and that's what matters. Then again, I was satisfied with the version of Tetris I had running on my TI-82. Yeah, not TI-83, but the older, more primitive version. Man, I played so much of that in math class...

Part of it is the SF, this is true. But part is also that Kirb has started posting other places, albeit occasionally...and every little bit helps.

If SomerZ and Adamant came back, full-time, there would be no stopping us.

OMG wow! There's going to be this huge building project between England and France. They're going to build a big tunnel across the English channel. I think it's the chunnel or something. Chunnel sounds like the name for a hair band, doesn't it? This thing'll be awesome if they do it.

I was wondering what it was based on. I actually didn't use themes at all (aside from Daily Cycle) until recently, when I started using the Night one, which I really like. For now, I feel obligated to use Twinkle Star for a bit longer. I'll change back to my old layout soon enough.
