The two of them heard a voice in their head. Maybe they often did, or maybe this was a new thing. But neither had heard this one before, anyway, at least not in their heads.

"You know, telepathy isn't always exactly a closed circuit communication."

Trapster said "Do it when I´m asleep and I´m fine with it. "

And I replied that taken out of context, that's funny. And Danielle agreed. Obviously, it was a sexual connotation...and that's where the comic comes in. Make sense now?

If you want a sword battle and magic, go to the story forum. Here, it's just the facts, plain and simple.

And on a rather unusual note, I made a $0.01 credit card purchase on Amazon.com.

You may wonder why I did that. See, I got something that was $9.99, with free shipping, but $0.75 tax. I happened to have $10.73 in unredeemed gift certificates after some other purchases I'd made in the past off of that balance. If you can add, you can see that I was 1 cent short. They actually made me give my credit card information for that ONE CENT.

Bah, you can never suppress the power of the mighty Twinkle Star! See? Even when it is gone from randomly appearing, I will make you see it!

Yeah, but how fast can you type with hunt and peck? The whole point of the keyboarding classes is to help you type more accurately and more quickly. It helps a lot, for example, when you can type without looking at the keyboard. Can you do THAT with hunt & peck?

So I'm definitely going to go for it...how bad an idea do you think it is to suggest she and I go out to dinner...the same night I get back to campus?

It certainly won't be difficult to do, seeing as I somehow ended up in the same dorm as she's in. Seriously by accident...well, mostly. It was on my list of choices for housing, but it was down a ways.

Also, since I assume I will have a roommate, and likely one I don't know...should I make an attempt to drive him out of the room so I can have a single?

Oh, Deep Dive is included in the game? Well, that's good to know. I feel *slightly* less gypped about not getting Final Mix now. Slightly.

I am looking forward to this game so much, more than I really have any other game before. I got the first one because I heard it was supposed to be good, but I didn't have expectations all that high...and I was blown away by its awesomeness.

According to the people in the eating hall in the college I'm affiliated with, there aren't any good Irish pubs in Oxford, because, and I quote, "the Brits are scared as hell of the Irish"...but I'm sure there's SOMETHING of an Irish pub around here.

And Guinness is good. I've had a lot of different beers since I've been here, and even compared to all of them, very much world class.

I'd like to see someone try to type as quickly with hunt & peck as I can with normal "home row" typing, provided the same level of accuracy. And keep in mind that I'm not THAT fast a typist.

As for writing up reports for school, I disagree largely on that topic. With hunt & peck I can only go at a certain rather slow pace. My style for writing reports, and even posts, really, is done very much in a conversational style. With the actual "correct" typing system I'm able to type at a similar rate to that at which I talk. A bit slower, but not significantly.

Sky: Eavesdropping, Kirb...and sorry about that.

Sky walks over to the table.

Sky: So what're you guys playing, anyway? Can I join in? Things got a lot less interesting back over there, really quickly.

Well, I was mostly joking about the roommate thing. And I should also say that's a separate question not related to the first. The girl I'm interested in is in a two-room double, and her roommate's boyfriend comes over from time to time anyway, so if I got involved with her, it would be more likely at her place (which is one floor up and down the hall from my room anyway, so no walk of shame!). This was more just a general question...and mostly joking, too.

See, spring quarter of my sophomore year, my roommate went abroad to Japan, leaving me with a one-room double, but no roommate. At least that's what I hoped, as I was told I might be assigned a roommate who was coming back from a term abroad. I was determined to get a single and said I would somehow drive the guy out of the room to demand housing elsewhere. Thankfully, my resolve on that was never tested. Does your response change at all now, even though I am rather joking?

Also, for going out to dinner. It's a bit of a ways off campus to get to anywhere to eat, and I don't have a car. I'm not sure whether or not she does, but there's also the option of the free campus shuttle, and bikes. Given a choice of the two (or three, if she drives) of those, do you have a recommendation? I would obviously offer to drive if I had a car, but...I don't have one out there.

Wow, lots of oldbies coming back all at once. I'd like to think I started this trend...which there is admittedly SOME truth to, as I got Ephy and Amanda to come back, and she brought CESum along.

Nice to have you back!

OSU...would that be Ohio State? I'm just guessing based on your time zone.

Sadly, it seems most of the people in the house here partied last night...which means they're tired today, and they have to work, and many of them will probably be asking for extensions on their final papers. I had shut myself in last night so I could do my work, which I did, though I didn't sleep, so I could be relaxed today and party tonight.

At this rate, though, there'll be no one who's up to partying...

I was going to say that I've never embedded music, but I think for some of my "landmark" threads (e.g. 10,000) on the old boards, I put in some sort of final fantasy victory theme.

Even if it weren't against the rules now, though, I wouldn't do it, because I hate it when people do it, even on their myspace pages, and I make it my goal not to be a hypocrite.

If we're only to talk about the ACS here, I think the limit should be decreased to really low. How stupid a topic is that, where people are just talking about the monthly points and how much they and others are posting, and that's it?

I must admit I liked the old style, where the ACS thread and the "Town Square" thread were one and the same.

Speaking of Tom, seeing as it's his birthday today, I noticed his name at the top of the screen...and it seems he's no longer banninated.

What's up with that?

That's actually very powerful. It's really hard to admit something like that publicly, but I think it's a really important step, seeing as you seem to have really come to terms with it.

I wish you the best of luck, and the best of will. It will be a difficult journey, but if you can make it to the end, you will know that you have accomplished something great.
