If you can indeed do that, I think it would be a great addition. As fun as it'll be to do some of the more advanced features, I've found that in some cases some of the base-level sort of things can be a lot of fun. And it might be nice to do a game where what you do for quite some time is build up a few civilizations from different species, and have them grow and communicate with each other by means of the computer...while you just add more to the fray.

And I may decide to do a "death star" game at some point, making it one lonely universe.

I was all gung ho about the PSP, but it really seems that the DS is getting better game selection. Though as usual for Nintendo recently, those tend to be pretty much solely first-party games.

But if they're good, is that a problem?

You're just jealous because I was man enough to make the layout first.

This has been one of my favorites for a while. It's very clever and well-done...and the music just seems perfect for it.

I said I was man enough to make the layout first...not that I was good at making layouts. I am, in fact, really crappy at making layouts, as is probably evident by both my normal one and this. It's not a question of effort as much as ability.

I'm very happy to see that I was at least slightly responsible for leading to madness in creating something crazy like this.

Granted, I didn't come up with the idea, but I did IMPLEMENT it in a way, and that's got to mean something.

I think the real problem comes with defining what it means to cook. Because I don't think preheating the oven, waiting a few minutes, popping something in, and waiting longer, is really that much more involved than throwing something in the microwave.

Do you think it would make more people go to and edit the wiki if there were a link to it off of the "toolbar" at the top of every page on the boards?

As I recall, the majority of shroomy's interactions with the female population of the boards involved him asking for phone sex and/or naked pictures.

Kyouji, that's about the weirdest tangent I've ever seen anyone go down.

I've never really been too much of a fan of racing games, partially because of the "one mistake and you're screwed" problem that really pervades most of them. I just never really liked that.

I was about to ask the same question, Kirb, I found that a bit confusing. I didn't know how old you were, and then noticed your 21st birthday coming up on the "calendar" for the site, which got me wondering a bit.

So, Amanda, you have any other dirt on CESum we'd like to know about?

I feel that as long as I've got this layout going, I am obligated to vote for Twinkle Star.

Oooh, I remember Mario Teaches Typing from the computer lab in middle school. How often my friends and I used it really speaks to how desperate we were during school hours for any sort of video-game-related entertainment.

Nova eventually wandered over to the bar and had a few drinks, sitting around observing the locals. Nothing seemed to really be going on in this town. The rogue sighed. You try to help and nothing comes of it. You try to make a break and no one will help.

Nova: I suppose it'll serve her right if her ranch gets taken over.

He quickly put that thought out of his mind. No, no, if you're going to change your ways, you can't just say screw 'em all to everyone who doesn't agree with you right away no matter how right you may be.

Nova: I'm going to make her listen to me. It's for her own good.

Bartender: What'd you say?

Nova: Nothing, nothing. Keep the change.

The rogue tossed some money on the bar and walked out the door. Mounting up, he started making his way towards Outset Ranch.

Yeah, the taking is indeed automated. I think it sounds like a really interesting system, allowing you to get some of the benefits of a multiplayer game without needing to implement that.

The magewarrior stood on alert on the temple as he waited for someone to accept his challenge. Still, Evan's approach would have gone unnoticed in most settings. The animals, however, who were in his path made it rather clear that he was coming. Rather clear, at least, that something was coming that made them uneasy. They poured forth from the trees along the path he took and put Sky on his guard. That he could only tell at this point there was someone...or something, even, he didn't know...coming from the animals' reactions disturbed him a bit. At this distance he would need to be more alert to catch what was happening. He decided to try a bit of a general call.

Sky: Hello there! Have you come to accept my challenge?

Sky waited for a response, his hand on his sword. He wasn't about to strike before his opponent answered, but then, if his opponent was simply trying to kill him without honor, he would need to be ready for that.
