Well, I thought I remembered you from the old boards, but if you're not the old Paragon, then I guess I don't.

Yeah, you do that, rip them out with your bare hands.
I'll bet I can hear you scream all the way here in Oxford. |

Well in all fairness, maybe he's not so much 'balanced' as 'balancing' all the biased pundits on the other side? Some serious, some not
For an example of the latter, the Daily Show, while yes, meant to be funny, and succeeding in that regard, does make it rather clear where John Stewart stands, rather painfully obvious during the election in 2004. (edited by Skydude on 03-08-06 07:15 AM) |

If you're referring to who I think you are, then his leaving is partially responsible for my returning
And Xkeeper, that's a nice red x you have as your icon...care to try uploading the file again? |

I do like cereal, it makes a good snack. But oddly enough, I don't tend to have milk on it. I will often drink milk while eating my cereal, but as a beverage, and not something that I actually put on the cereal itself.

Of course, that there are two antichrists (not the same as the devil) could save us all. They vie for power and end up killing each other, and we're all saved.
Celebrations! |

This really makes me wonder a bit. Google claims things like this are just from search results and reference keywords, as in the debaucle with political results of searching 'failure' and the like. Still, something like this seems a bit different, as there don't seem to be any viable pages to get that result.

Sky: I think...this is where we take our exit.
At that, Sky kicked hard at the remaining rocks, making enough of a hole for several people to get through. He quickly grabbed Cassandra and Lily and dragged them through before returning and facing the beast. Sky: I don't know what I can do, but I'll cover our escape as best I can! Move out of here! |

Nova: Suit yourself, but I really don't think you ought to be trying so hard on your own. There's nothing wrong with accepting the help of others now and then.
The rogue helped Mitra down from Sabor before turning to the others. Nova: There are a bunch of mine carts, probably enough for everyone, but several tracks. Any idea which way to go, other than away from the dragon? |

Well, I think you're taking my argument a bit to the extreme as well as showing a blatant disregard for the actual situation by denying any bias whatsoever. He's not nearly as extreme as you make him out to be, for one thing. The problem is that the media have created an environment where the left is seen as the mainstream, and anything to the right, including the extreme right, the moderate right, and those right about in the middle, are all seem as radical right-wingers.

I remember this show, and though I only saw a few episodes, really liked it. It confused me for a while how there were two Sonic shows on during the same time period, that slightly dark one and the incredibly goofy one. Sadly, only the latter seems to have survived in reruns...

Normally I would say that it's a bad idea to bump threads, but in this case I'm glad you did, as seeing this got me to re-start my search for some of the first anime that I saw. It was a movie that aired on the sci-fi channel a number of years ago (10, maybe?)...and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was. So I did a search trying to find what anime was played on the sci-fi channel, and found it.
Green Legend Ran...I wouldn't mind seeing it again, in its uncut version (apparently a LOT was cut from the version aired in the US)... |

http://xkeeper.shacknet.nu:3/e/wb800icon.ico seems to be the URL of the picture, which doesn't really look at all like a URL to me...it looks a lot, actually, like the old URL (that didn't work) to the "doom" sign you posted a bit earlier. Is there something special about the location or filetype?

I think this means I have to keep up almost exactly the same rate of posting that I have been (provided there's enough activity to not do so spammily) so that I can keep the projected date at exactly that. Because that is awesome.
Speaking of activity, I love the activity.php thing... ...but that one crazy night is going to cause it to be really huge in that one place forevermore |

It's odd, from some testing.
glad crash won = corrects glad crash lost = doesn't correct glad crash win = doesn't correct glad crash bags = corrects glad crash oscar = corrects But then, it's only for glad...happy doesn't find anything, for example. |

On that note, me with the (very short) girl I dated for the summer before my senior year of high school, as well as all of that year, showing what I meant before about no picture where we both look good. |

They don't work for me. I'm guessing it's a firewall thing. The network I'm on here seems to have some odd settings in that regard.

Kind of ironic that you say that, considering where the 'from' thing for you says, as there was a story a few weeks ago about a large terrorist attack planned against L.A. that was stopped.
Often, though, the job of Homeland Security, and the CIA, and FBI, and similar organizations, is among the most thankless. We almost never hear about what successes they have, since advertising that lets those being watched what we are able to see (why spend money on intelligence networks if all the info is on ABC?). But if they fail, even once, no matter how successful they may or may not have been, boy, does THAT get a lot of press. |

Sky ran up alongside Clara, still holding his sword, and bracing himself. His hands began to glow as well.
Sky: Unless you've got a particular battle plan, I have something I want to try. I got the idea after a friend had a rather painful experience at a meal. Cassandra screwed up an eyebrow. Cassandra: That's an odd place to get an attack. Sky: Yeah, but it's appropriate. |

The magewarrior dug his feet in and stuck his sword into the ground. Both of his hands glowed brightly, but not at the same time. He glared at the monster
Sky: When I'm done with you, you'll have to gum your victims to death. With that, a blast of ice spewed forth from Sky's right hand, traversing all that they could see of the worm. It sacrificed power for spread, and made the surface of the monster very, very cold. It was then that the magewarrior released a blast of fire from his left hand, in the same manuever. The worm seemed to hang in midair for a second. And then, the group was nearly deafened, though no one would be able to say whether it was from the tremendous cracking noise they heard as the beast's teeth shattered or the wail of pain the creature made. Sky picked up his sword and faced the monster. Sky: Large temperature fluctuations are bad for teeth, you know. |
