I must also disagree on the whole "more attractive = more shallow" thing...unfortunately, the only girls I've dated that I have digital photos of me with are the one I don't get along with anymore, and one with whom every photo that's a good photo of her is a bad one of me, and the other way around, and if I posted pics of the girls themselves you'd likely not believe me
Well, except maybe for my first girlfriend back when I was 15. |

Well, deflation is generally caused by an overvaluation of the currency. In truth, no inflation or deflation happened, as price levels stayed the same. But lots of money generally leads to inflation.
And on the topic of fast food, I usually try to stay away, not because it's really awful for me, and I do actually like it, but because you can get something much better in not that much more time and not that much more money. Instead of McDonalds, for example, I go to Chipotle, which is the best "fast food" I've ever had, up there with Subway, which is in that same category. |

I'd really rather not get into the politics discussion at the moment, I'll just clarify something. If you're going to be technical, it's the USA PATRIOT Act.
Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism The one thing I'll say is that there is most certainly a trade-off between freedom and security. In a totalitarian state, we could be extremely secure. But then, why would we care about the security of such an awful place to live? On the other extreme, complete freedom of about everything with no restrictions cripples the effectiveness of the police and other defensive forces. Where's the right place somewhere between those two to be? I don't know. |

((Melvin, you're back!))
Baron Ashura was caught by surprise when the giant bounding ball suddenly found itself flying towards him. Behind it stood a crimson mecha with a head like an Egyptian god, standing amid the wreckage of the city, tail flapping as the rest of the mech stood relatively motionless, holding a long spear in its right hand. Anubis, personal mech of Sky, which had not been completed in time for the last mecha war, stared at the army of robots in front of him. A loudspeaker boomed out the magewarrior's voice. Sky: So I thought you might need some help, Melvin, and I got here as fast as I could. Just tell me who to take out, and they're as good as gone. ****Earlier**** The sun shone brightly on Neo Grape Gardens, onto the prone figure of Sky, in more casual attire than usual, as he lay on a lawn chair. This was a nice place, he thought, and he was glad he'd decided to spend more time here. If nothing else, it seemed to be the starting point for a lot of adventures, and he wanted to be ready for them. For now, though, it was time to relax. The relaxation was quickly broken by a young man bounding across the grass yelling out dire warnings. The man, if you could call him that, he was still basically a boy, wore brightly colored clothes and appeared very enthusiastic at all times, even if he wasn't trying to do so. He shouted as he ran across the field. ???: Sky! Sir Sky! There's a big problem over in Tokyo 3! Sky: Eh? What's going on, Henry? Henry: Mechs, lots of them! They're destroying everything! They came out of nowhere, and the forces are just starting to mobilize against them! Sky: And as usual...*sigh*...they're going to lose horribly, so they need us, right? Henry: That's pretty much the idea. Melvin's in the area, though, so-- Sky: *getting up and putting on his usual attire* Oh goodness, he's going to need some help. Are these real or super robot foes we're talking about? Henry: Judging from what I've heard, the latter. Sky: In that case...*smile*...fire up Anubis. |

Sky looked rather strangely at Lily.
Sky: You think THAT's cute? Anyway, we'd best be off before more show up. But of course, it was too late, as the blob-like creatures seemed to come out of every orifice in the rock and surround the group. |

Nova: What you said earlier gave me something of an idea, actually...
Nova reached inside his cloak and again withdrew his hammer. He rushed at the dragon and bonked it on the head. Nova: Ha ha! But of course, this did little more than make Volvagia angry, and Nova found him quickly thrown into a nearby rock, inches from the edge of the platform. Nova: Or....not. |

Hey, at least I have an excuse, given Manda's focus on the love slaves, and her insistence that I was her perpetual one of those...
As for the choice, asdf, I would go for the Giant Mecha...if you had one of those, the girls would FLOCK to you. |

Well, I think this question could actually go two directions.
The first is asking whether or not you shave...down there. To which the answer is no, I don't like the idea of sharp things being in that area. The second is a question of preferences in another...in which case the answer depends on several factors, such as what all is going on there in the particular situation |

One thing I really liked about the Gummi ship was that it was a sort of diversion. I like it a lot in games where you have the main game, and not so much mini-games, which are often annoying, like in FF7, but where there are portions that are a bit different...hard to differentiate between those and a mini-game, but the distinction is there...somehow.

The one that came out for GBC is a sequel to the first one, happening again about 100 years later. It's supposed to be pretty good, but I haven't played it.
The one for GBA is supposed to be rather bad, and not actually have much to do with the larger story as a whole. |

What possessed you to start this thread in the first place?
I think that's an appropriate starting question. |

So then, do you think this will replace the need for the 'user comments' suggestion there was some talk of a while ago?

But I think that may be where you differ with the opinions of a lot of people. In a sense, this is certainly a time of peace. Bush may not be perfect, but he was certainly right in saying that it is a war on terror...it's a new kind of warfare, and not really the same as anything we've seen in the past. In fact, conventional wars may be all but over due to nuclear weapons and the fact that most of the powerful states understand the futility of them...so it's really only acts of 'terrorism' that will constitute warfare, and trying to prevent them.
Are we at war? I'm not sure. |

I suppose in a few hours we'll see whether or not he successfully removed it, but judging by the text at the top, he did something, anyway.

Actually, I think that's a Gameboy...but I'm impressed a youngin' is even familiar with the NES these days! |

Honestly, whoever thought of this is quite clever.
As for new Simpsons things, while not live-action, there IS a movie planned for after the show stops running...eventually... |

Sky decided to have a bit of fun as he used another elemental sampler on the blobs. Various creatures melted, froze, were zapped into oblivion, driven apart by the force of water, blown into bits by the wind, driven into the ground or the ceiling at high speeds, hit with darkness or light, and such, though none of the blasts particularly powerful.
Cassandra: Overdoing it a bit much? Sky: Nah...it's all in good fun. |

Oh wow, guess I should have scrolled down. Those are, in general, quite amusing. Perhaps there should be a PBJT day, in which users' avatars are randomly changed to one of those things.

If I did, I would most certainly use an electric razor, and I would recommend the same. I've not cut my face with one, and I think that would make it the best choice for a similarly...sensitive...area.

Nova jumps behind the sheet of metal where Nijote's hiding and glares at Hikari.
Nova: Well, do you have a better idea, or are we just going to sit here until he knocks us into the lava? |
