| The closest I ever got to someone impersonating me was when manda was using my layout for the period in August when I took a week off of the internet entirely to avoid the shit going on here at the time. I would feel honored if more people wanted to be like me...and scared of that, too. | |||

| Well, in a number of cases, it would be more efficient for other countries to grow the crops, and pay the farmers to train them in other industries, and get them to do something else with their time. That's a rather simple part of textbook economics. But of course, the farmers don't WANT that. And they're the best-mobilized lobby in most countries. | |||

| In retrospect, Doug really was a pretty crappy show, and watching some old episodes as I have on some channel in recent years showed me that.
But at the time, I liked it a lot. I guess I always liked rooting for the underdog. |

| Danielle, don't feel bad, I missed several sprees when I was doing something else back on the old boards. Working sometimes (both on school and later, at my job as a lifeguard), and for one of the first really huge sprees the board had, I came back to the boards after a nice night at the winter formal at my then-girlfriend's school. That was...interesting, let's put it that way. | |||

| What I've found really fun the past few years is drinking with my parents. My folks were visiting me in Oxford this weekend, and my dad had me show him some of the historic pubs each night. So the last two nights I ended up having 2 pints and 2 glasses of wine, and 4 pints, respectively. Fun times, especially as they were paying. My parents are actually decently fun to hang out with when they're treating me as an adult. | |||

| It certainly has a lot to live up to. One of the things that made the original so wonderful was that it just did everything right, and was very different, and still is, than most other games, in how it's played. The second one, to be better, would have to be more than just the same gameplay with new characters, stories, and worlds...to surpass the first one, it has to be just as revolutionarily awesome, with that much more new stuff. And if it does that, then it'll be one of the greatest games ever. | |||

| The numbers next to the names refer to the ranking the person had in the ACS the previous day. NR means "not ranked"...as in they were out of the top ten.
And Danielle, MOST days there isn't a spree, so it's not like it would JUST be that one day, to spite you. |
