Anya, particularly after what happened last night, you would have to be REALLY, REALLY spammy for someone to call you on it. I mean spammy like some of the things manda & I did several summers ago like in the "Jailbait or not, Manda, you must be mine!" thread

We had some fun. If I see her online again soon, I'm trying to get her to come back. That'll make for some great times.

An even better thing happened...ok, well, by even better I mean even more awful...when I was browsing myspace profiles, looking at some of my friends' friends and all.

One of them was really emo and seemed in the latest blog entry, posted on the main page, that this guy was considering suicide. Not a funny topic, of course.

But the ad bar, which is always there, happened in this one instance to have a Nike ad. And the slogan, as you all know, seemed to fit awfully well with the person considering slitting his wrists:

"Just do it."

FF6 was awesome, and Setzer is decent, but I'm not desperate to see him or anything. As far as YRP goes, I hope that in the former two cases, they're closer to their FFX versions, as I hated FFX-2. But Vivi alone could make the game awesome, as I'm sure it'll be. I liked KH a lot my first time through, but my second time through it turned into one of my favorite games of all time. So I've got high hopes for this.

I was just playing through this game for the second time a couple weeks ago, and I realized just how much I absolutely love it. It's a wonderful game, I feel, with great characters, great music, great battle system, story, and everything. And the ending is one of the most touching ones I've ever seen.

The game, if you don't know, is actually a prequel to Lufia & The Fortress of Doom, which in the very first sequence actually plays out the events of the ending of Lufia II...so if you play that, you're rather spoiled. Which I did, but even so, found the ending to be incredibly touching, even the second time around. It's just that great a game, particularly with the music. As such, though, I recommend the second one first...and the first isn't as good a game either, but still worth your time, I think.

Anyone else familiar with this gem?

I suppose if she's having a party on Saturday, the one on Sunday will be a BIG surprise.

And I suppose that bombing the hell out of your hometown is a nice way to let off steam...

This place will always be my home, after the huge time commitment I gave it in the past.

I guess I just went on a long journey and just recently came back. And it's a good place. And now to try to get some of the old fun folks back

I think at this point I would make Dark Vampriel my slave if just to spite Grey.

ST, I've got to say, that picture of you, even if it is your worst, is quite cute.

As for stories, I've got a bunch, though the best unfortunately I don't remember. Like the one, and only one, time I have gone drinking to "drown my sorrows" ran into a friend the next day who spoke to me like I'd seen her the previous night, but I didn't remember that at all. Apparently I had been over to the housing where she was, and spent an hour or so over there, incredibly wasted. I did have fun, it was a good night.

What's really funny is how my my 'character' drank here when I was here last, when I had never had a drink before...

So a number of people have been grumping about the lack of activity here. I never remember there being a lack of activity at the old board. So my mission at this point is thus: To the best of my ability, I will track down the top 50 posters of the old board as seen here and try to get them to come back here. You can help, too! Get a few of them back, and the excitement stirred will cause a flurry of activity! And the board will be awesome, it'll be an Acmlm Renaissance.

I'm not JUST upset that everyone is pimping it out with full dragon gear...but yes, I am somewhat upset with that. Especially since I was largely responsible for trying to start people being more active posting, and Xkeeper just used that start to start his happy hour...as with some of my relations with various previously socially awkward girls, I feel I did the work and someone else got the reward.

I don't know, Ephy, they moved MY return thread to general, and I was gone longer than you were, so who knows how long this'll last.

Good to have you back after so long, hope to see you in the SF.

Rawr. Just that single word reminds me of manda. And makes me need to post this LJ usericon I made for her. It's Arche, from Tales of Phantasia, by the way. And she thought it was awesome, as she thought of herself much like Arche, and all.

Yeah, I'm sure there may be some lingering ill will, but I'm banking on just some general happiness that extends from the reunion and some maturity to have occurred to extinguish it.

And you're not leaving. We won't let you.

Well, I may think too much of myself here in this endeavor, but I think that there is certainly a chance that in some of these people's minds, if several members of "the old crowd" are back, well, then that might make it more worth it to come back. As such, I feel that while it likely won't work, if it works a little bit, it could very much have a cascading effect, which would be amazing.

So it's worth a shot.

Well, I think people with access to phpmyadmin can do things like change the number of coins you have directly, so all you need to do really is dig up some dirt on them, and then blackmail them into giving you lots of coins.

Oops, did I say that out loud?

Trust me, if I got manda to come back, I would make sure she stayed a bit under control...could cause some drama, I know, but I think I could convince her to stay off that for a bit.

Wait, it's manda, maybe not. But we'll see.

It may be partially because of Dani.

And you know, I might be willing to try some BDSM stuff with the right girl, I don't know, just something about that makes me interested...but likely never to the point of blood and such.

Honestly, Sion, I'm not sure any person could ever truly handle manda. She's just that much of a girl...woman, now, I suppose. Crazy. Crazy awesome at times, yes, but crazy in one way or another all the same.

Nova: The good news is that Mitra got to safety.

The dust had cleared, and the ground up to the top where the mining structure had been was more easily reachable. Sabor leaned over the top, the original kidnapper still draped over him, and Mitra riding slightly in front of the unconscious body. Nova looked up and smiled at his mount.

Sabor: Mrrrrrrrrrrrr?

Nova: The bad news is that I was barely able to throw her to safety before I fell down here myself. Now, I've got some talent, but I can't fly. And really, I'm sorry about this. I really am. I know I said the bigger they are, the harder they fall, but I didn't think he'd fall THAT hard...

Do not call manda a him or an it. Manda is very much female, and very much of a female, as it were. More than that, I don't know how much I can say without revealing too much, but should she return, I'm sure a lot will come to light about all of this.
