I'm guessing that like many repositories of open information, like the original wikipedia, this will start off in this chaos, but relatively soon go to relatively normal.

I do predict smwfreak or any other oft-banned user will do some vandalism at some point, though.

If you could do anything sexual with any member of the boards, who would you choose and what would you do?

Nova dropped the hammer for a moment to catch the bomb plant thrown at him. The force of the throw knocked him flat, but he was barely able to prevent the plant from striking anything too hard. Getting up, he quickly tossed it off to the side as far as could. Putting the hammer back in his coat, he started to hop up the mountain. This might be a bit harder this way.

Nova: Fine, have it your way, make it the long way up.

The magewarrior shrugs.

Sky: We don't seem to be in any dreadful hurry at the moment, and I could use a bit of a rest in a place that isn't so creepy. I say we follow him.

Cassandra rushes forward and huggles the Yoshi.

Cassandra: Ohhhhhhhhh....it's soooooooooo kyuuuuuuuuuuute!

So will there be no "free" editing, I'll need to get yet another username and password in order to edit stuff?

Ah well, I guess you get security at the price of convenience.

I have to go with Zem on this one, despite some of my earlier fad suggestions. The best fads will just sort of appear with time when someone does or says something to inspire them, far more than something we think up now for several weeks/months down the road.

I think it's rather important to cite sources on a claim as large as the one you're making. I attempted some research (For one, you missed a letter, it's Monsanto) and the only thing I could find on this story was on an extremely biased blog. Which isn't to say that it's necessarily false, since those can definitely do some good independent reporting, but it is to say that it's something of an iffy source on its own. I'd like to learn more about this.

Occasionally there may be a local problem with the AIM server. If you have another screen name, try signing on with that. If the problem persists, wait a few hours and try again.

This may prove to be an excellent time-waster. I updated the fads page a bit, giving my own...erm...expertise of sorts.

Yeah, XKeeper, that'll stop the town from descending into chaos, but it won't create a wonderful utopia, and you'll never get the really huge buildings the names of which I had to look up on gamefaqs (Arcologies)...

Trunxy, I promise that I will make that scene, and other memorable FF scenes, upon my return to the states. Be sure to remind me in a few weeks in case this thread goes under.

And then I will cry. Again.

Good, I like to know I have been able to make a grown man cry.

As much as I like those Bionic Commando ones, I feel like he hasn't quite captured the bionic arm, though I'm not sure how feasible it would be to do so with legos, unfortunately.

I'm not really a huge Fanta fan, so I wouldn't know, but some of my friends who are claim that the stuff in the states is far different (and inferior) from the stuff sold in Europe. Anyone able to confirm/refute these allegations?

Check your sources for bias. I went to that Wikipedia article, and looked at the link they reference (you produced it there, though without the link, it's the "[4]" at the end there). It's a website run by the self-proclaimed best friend of the reporters, hardly an unbiased source.

Also, you were mistaken in saying it was recent; the case is apparently ongoing (they can take a while) but the report was in 1997.

Again, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that with the sources cited and the others I've found looking at this, we're hardly seeing the unbiased scandal. Especially since you seem to gloss over the FDA's role in all of this, which is without a doubt the most crucial.

Nova: If it's holding him, I'm sure a couple more folks won't be too bad.

Still running up the mountain, Nova took the brief respite in attacks as an opportunity to increase his speed as he made it to the rig itself and started running up. There seemed to be a rather odd network of girders and ladders. Who had BUILT this?

Cassandra runs up to Quoshi and huggles it.

Cassandra: This is a martial artist? That's sooooooo adorable!

Sky: Erm, Cassie, you know, that may be a bit rude...what happened to this village, anyway?

I've always been a bit iffy on the handcuffs thing. Though that may be partially because I've always been a bit paranoid in some sense.

It depends largely on the situation. Often, yes, you certainly can stay friends after breaking up. I know I have with a majority of my exes. Sometimes, though, it becomes too painful for one or both parties, and it just doesn't work. Hard to give a general rule, though. It depends on how much each of you wants to be friends with the other, and how much you're willing to do to make it work, because it often will take some effort to make it work.
