Jeez, that's not hard at all then. Of course, if you could scan that in it might help, or at least describe it. "A zipper" could be a lot of different things visually which might translate into different transformations. Is it the thing that closes/opens the zipper itself, is it a closed zipper with/without one of those, a partially open one, or what?

You need to be a bit more descriptive.

I want to know why you played that word at all

It really, really pained me to use "poop" when I didn't really have anything else to play

I really seem to recall FF7 being much, much cheaper. I imagine the demand went up a lot recently due to the hype about Advent Children, leading to a big price increase.

How about before their were legal abortions.. women were shoving hangars up themselves.. killing themselves and their babies? That shit is going to happen again if you outlaw abortions. And you'll have people doing under the table stuff. Alot of people.

How about how more women die from legal abortions than ever died from illegal abortions? Even according to the attorneys who brought forth Roe v Wade and subsequent cases, they GROSSLY inflated the numbers. And in fact, even before, not all of those illegal abortions were "back-alley" ones as is overly publicized by the industry. Physicians before had to be extremely careful, since if they DID injure the woman, it wasn't just that problem itself, but also the problem of an illegal procedure. Now, when something goes wrong, as it does far more often than you seem to think, there isn't as much of a problem, with legal waivers and the like, leading to a lot of problems, both fatal and otherwise.

And I've never understood the "people will do it, so make it legal" argument in general. If you apply it to anything outside of the extremely narrow cases in which people argue it, they say "but that doesn't count!" and I ask "why?" It really seems like they want to apply it only in these very specific circumstances.

Wikipedia's disambiguation page suggests the color came from the fruit.

I played piano many years ago, and have been meaning to start playing again since. Probably to no avail. I can't even play well enough to really accompany myself singing besides just playing a basic melody anymore...

I just buy a pack of disposable mechanical pencils every now and then, and it tends to last me a while. Usually, a single one will last me a whole quarter or more, including tests and problem sets.

I don't know, I think some of the characters' looks were significantly improved. The Turks, for example, though I'm not sure how much FMV exposure they even had. And Tifa...seems to have gotten some much-needed breast reduction surgery, so she probably doesn't have back problems anymore

Yeah, suicide is probably the only crime you can't be prosecuted for if you succeed.

As for the original question, I have indeed considered that myself, and then decided I'd rather just not think about it.

Auto-fellatio would probably be crossing the line, though.

Well, except that being gay is the interaction of multiple members of the same sex, whereas you and...you...are just one person. Even if you have split personalities.

And it should be noted that attempted suicide is not treated as is attempted murder, so it's not really "murder" at least in the legal sense

I don't think it counts as self-defense if he sprays you on a verbal contract (legally binding sometimes) and then you go hunt him down later and spray him

So I downloaded some subbed anime in .mkv format, and though I've downloaded codecs that promise to make things like that work, they don't seem to, having tried DivX, Windows Media Player, Quicktime, and Realplayer to play them. Maybe installing the codec packs doesn't do everything that needs to be done. I can hear the sound and see the subs, but that's it. Help?

Yeah, I really dislike the FF elitism cult that's spawned around it. IE works fine for me, and I did download FF, since it's recommended for coding for a class I'm taking this quarter, but my scrollbar doesn't work in it, the google toolbar doesn't work as I'd like it, and a couple other minor issues.

Casual searching got me this.

A bit more got me this, with links to other sites on the same topic

edit: seems the second site has a lot of broken links, but has plenty of active ones as well.

edit: Another

Yeah, I went to the format's website, didn't really do anything. I think I need to do something with the codecs other than just using the install program, but I don't know what.

edit: not sure how I missed the actual player downloading...if that doesn't work, then I guess it's a problem with the file itself.

Well, I mean, that's what you're going to get with a dub. You don't notice in anime because, well, animation gives a bit more leeway than real life or really-high-quality-cg (like this) does. The original VAs are better anyway. Subs FTW.

I have an Irish Whistle that I got after someone in my dorm did a subsidized event teaching how to play it. It's a lot like a recorder, really, and it's used in some soundtracks. Notably, some music in LotR movies, which is how she first started playing it. I wouldn't mind getting good at this...

I've seriously never had any real problems with IE, and therefore there's no reason to switch. Simple as that. I'm not going to say it's better, because on a number of measures it's probably not.

But...it works fine for me, so I see no reason to switch. Not like it hurts you for me to use IE

I'm thinking that like a number of people, he extends the graphite a bit too far out from the tip of the mechanical pencil. Which will cause it to break relatively easily.

The other thing about pencils in college is that few of the classrooms have pencil sharpeners, so you have to either bring your own or use mechanical ones.

edit: well, that's true of MY college, not sure how other places are.
