As with most things that rely on user content, my concern is that some of the users may have submitted things and then left, so they won't be resubmitting it.
Not a huge problem, and I certainly don't care about it that much myself...just noting the problem there may be. |

And seriously, self-mutilation is a rather serious problem, maybe not best to be joking about...especially if you're not funny. Maddox, on the other hand, rocks.

The other thing to note is that on most auctions, the price goes up a lot towards the end, in the last couple minutes, often in the last 10 seconds, particularly as more people use "sniping" services...

I really can't imagine FF7 being sold for $38 unless it's completely new, as it sells for only a fraction of that price at GameStop and the like.
As for the beanie babies, that's only the really rare ones that sell for that much. Then again, seeing as they "retire" them often, that makes a lot of them really rare |

It may be legal to carry tear gas and/or mace, but I can assure you that it's illegal to use them as offensive, rather than defensive, weapons as you seem to be proposing

I have to admit to being surprised about your stance on prostitution. I have to disagree on it, but I must admit, I find it to be remarkably consistent, which is something that most people with your position on abortion tend not to be.

Well, tomorrow is indeed the start of a new month, and May Day (and "Loyalty Day" too apparently) which seems to be as good a time as ever to start being active again.

Jeez, this title just keeps getting changed, it's a little scary.
I'm also glad I didn't see that layout...I guess it was put into use between when I left and when I came back. |

Well, I use the disposable mechanical pencils, which don't tend to lend themselves to putting more graphite in. Besides, like I said, by the time they run out they're in pretty bad shape anyway.

It's always a decent idea to have spare computer equipment around. Usually you won't even need to buy it. For example, if your keyboard breaks, the keyboard from your last computer, which is probably in disuse and obselete, should work just fine.

I think I missed something. How exactly is he famous?
And I like pears. |

Amusing. Rather odd, but amusing. Because of a few quirks about FF, I think I'll stick with IE, since it works just as I'd like it to.

That's actually not entirely true. Most laptops have places where you can hook up an external keyboard and/or mouse. Granted, it's a lot more convenient to use the attached one, but that's not always feasible, as in this case.

Also, zippers tend to be attached to things. What exactly was it that you got? The materials you have, and what else you can add, rather change the possibilities.

Yup, that's pretty much exactly why they do it. Some kids probably still collect Beanie Babies, but at this point it's become very much a collector's market, as well as those who want to profit by selling *to* collectors. So TY makes them artificially rare to drive up demand that way.

I find more often that the kind of music I listen to depends largely on my mood. During a rather depressed period of time this past January, I basically compiled a lot of songs that I already had on my computer which together made what I called my "emo playlist" and listened to that...a lot. When I'm a bit happier, I will often listen to funny things as well as the more normal selection of music I have.

Pears just really don't seem to be in season nearly often enough, is the problem, and when out of season tend to just not be all that good for whatever reason, when shipped from wherever else. Pineapples seem to be able to make that trip a bit better.

The other problem with Maddox recently is that he hasn't really been updating all that much since he started on his book...and I guess now he's busy on the book tour and all. Speaking of which, anyone buy that yet, and know if it's any good?

Kiraxo, read the thing setz posted...which is new info to me, as well. Seems copyrighting is easy...just a bit harder to prove it if you don't pay, but still not impossible. |
