I think you should put that you played the part of Idiot One on your resume. That, or sue Xk for profiting off of you on some grounds.

Well, some suggestions just don't go over very well.

And Gaz....that's why you make sure you get the money first. That, or make sure it's a guy who you could beat up later if he doesn't pay.

Another rather important thing to note is how much shipping on an item is.

See, you have to pay eBay twice: when you list an item, and when you sell it (if you don't sell it, I think you get the listing money back, or something), and both the starting price and the ending price affect how much you have to pay eBay.

However, shipping isn't included in that. So you can sell something for $.01 and charge someone $20 for shipping that really only costs you $5, and you don't have to pay eBay as much for the item.

Whereabouts in Wales are you from, Gaz? I visited a few cities there with some friends over the weekend back in January while I was studing abroad in the UK. Beautiful countryside.

Welcome to the boards, hope you enjoy it here.

Well, it depends how they work. In some cases, from some of the models I've seen, it would make things worse, such as various afforestation proposals which get far more credit than they do benefit.

After reading that review, I rather want to see that movie, after being somewhat uncertain before.

And drjay, somehow I don't see how F9/11 is more acceptable than this due to reasons you specified and seem to suggest make it more acceptable. If anything, trying to make a point and advance a political agenda, particularly with a lot of deception and half-truths, while seeking big profit, is a lot worse than this.

Well, the Spriter's Resource, as we know it, DOES seem to be gone for good. Even if they rebuild it "better" there will still be some ways in which it is lacking, I would have to think, compared to the old one.

I said before, asdf, I have never let the ACS dictate the amount I post in the past, and I see no reason to do so now. I would like silver, since, as I said, it's the only one I haven't gotten, but at the same time, I don't really care that much. If Kyouji disappears tomorrow and I get gold because I happen to get a few points, so be it. It's a slight preference rather than a goal.

....why would someone drink the ink out of a pen, even on a dare? That's pretty awful.

And yeah, if you just mean kinda chewing on pencils, I don't really chew so much as kind hold the pencil in my mouth, such that it does get a bit chewed-looking after a while, but it's a rather slow process. With my mechanical pencils, in general, they aren't in unusable shape before the graphite runs out anyway, so it's about the right speed.

Well, keep in mind that since you'll likely get 1st today, you'll be 8 points ahead of me in the final day, so if you do any decent amount of posting you'll end up winning

Like I said, not much drama.

Well, you need to take a middle course of action, of course. Still, I would imagine that most people have a set price they're willing to pay for an item, say, $20, and bid accordingly. That is, if the shipping is $10, they won't bid higher than $10, and if the shipping is $5, they'll bid up to $15...and if the shipping is $19.99 then they'll bid on a $.01 item.

At least, that's what I do, and I think it's reasonable...

But it WAS capitalizing on the events of that day. Not as many people would've gone to see it if it had been just another Bush-bashing piece, like his next movie is, which like I said probably won't do as well. He claimed to be able to explain the events of 9/11, and he profited from it.

The other thing that must be noted about protection of life is that of the value of different parts of life. Protection of life supercedes protection of convenience, in this case. If a woman must die so her child can live, then it becomes a matter of equality, in which case saving one or the other would be an acceptable, though disappointing, moral choice.

Speaking of choosing one over the other, I don't see how SS's choice showed that one had greater value than the other. He expressed what he would do if he were forced to make a choice. When you have to make a choice and there is no difference in value, then emotions may rule. However, what your emotions tell you shouldn't be used as a substitute for real thought on the issue. After all, if what is argued that makes man special is the ability to rise above instinct and do other things (Which some in this topic have claimed to some extent, and I'm not sure how much you agree on that), perhaps even less should we trust in these instinctual judgments.

And another thing as for control of her own body...just curious, I'm not trying to attack...so then you would support prostitution, provided the woman chooses to partake in it herself rather than being forced into it?
