Well that's why they didn't level up. Your summons earn 1 exp from using one drive gauge. You can literally level them up without ever having them kill an enemy.

Well, if you learn most East Asian languages and not Western languages in the first few years of your life, then you likely won't be able to pronounce a proper L sound. Why she can't seem to use the L at all is surprising to me, rather than, as usually happens, a sound that is between an L and an R (as neither of those phonemes is distinct from that in-between one in several languages).

Eggs, baby chickens, rabbits, the "easter grass" and all the bright colors associated with the holiday in the secular sense come from the idea of life returning to the world after the dark time of winter, which goes along to some extent with the religious message of the holiday.

See, what's odd is that never before had I heard about an advocate of stale peeps. And then yesterday at dinner one of my friends mentioned that one of her friends felt that way. And now you express then same sentiment...one that I don't quite agree with. I do somewhat enjoy stale peeps, but not as much as the non-stale variety.

I hereby order you to get more peeps and torture them in various ways, and then provide photographic evidence of those deeds.

Damn, and now Blades is back. Lots of oldbies around. Speaking of which, for anyone who has any idea of who she is, I talked to Khar last night...yes, she is still alive and reasonably well!

Well, it's a bit more than "equal to that of the penis" and it's something I didn't realize until it was pointed out, obvious as it is. Look at the male and female reproductive systems. The shape and functions of various parts are surprisingly similar...they really do have a common base, just forming in different ways depending on whether a developing child is male or female.

Spoiler tags seem to be a bit iffy no matter what browser you're using. Not sure what's up with the code. Sometimes they get huge, sometimes they don't cover up the text right, not sure if other problems have been noted.

You know, if you think about it, celebrating one's birthday is nothing more than saying "Yay! I went another year without dying!"

Which reminds me of one of the alumni who plays with the Band sometimes, when people ask him how it feels to turn 40/50/some-round-number: "Well, it's better than the alternative."

So wait, did you use a pipe or a board with nails in it?

I think the best FPS melee weapon still has to go to Doom's chainsaw.

So things with the girl in question are better now. She said she still needs some time to sort things out, but assured me she did still think of me as a friend, and essentially suggested that normal friendship would resume shortly. So my question is whether you think I should basically put off any thoughts of anything more ever completely, or merely hold back on expressing anything of the nature, or something else entirely, once that happens.

Same question as to Grey, but for a woman's perspective:

So things with the girl in question (see Grey's thread if you don't know what I'm talking about) are better now.

Tomboys/geeks rock, to a point. My ideal girl definitely has a side of her that is one of those. It's just so endearing, hard to explain. But at the same time, I want a girl to have the necessary femininity as well, even if it only comes out at certain times. Perhaps in a sense it's that I want a girl whose personality is like mine in that while it's always the same at the core, different sides come out appropriately depending on the situation.

See, I'm not entirely convinced it's because of bad code in layouts, as some browsers have the problem and others don't. Calling it "bad code" suggests a more universal issue.

I hit the jackpot with mine.

"Results 1 - 10 of about 777 for Skydude"

2 of the first four are actually me, my profiles here and at ytmnd. The first result is a guy in Britain who flies kites. Really.

And they think I want to look for Skydome.

Well, a lightsaber would certainly win in a fight with a chainsaw, that's true. But a chainsaw is far more cool. Blame the Evil Dead movies for my opinion if you must.

I plan on going through and skewering each of these one by one later, but for now, I really have to say, you're really stretching things to put your own incredibly biased spin on things. Namely your "but you can detect it simmering below the surface of all the stuff about protecting the sanctity of life" really shows just how little evidence you have of it, and this is just your way of slander (or if we are to be technical, libel) in a style that I've seen far too often. Basically, you say "I have no evidence to prove what I'm saying, but if you break things apart and look at it in exactly the way I tell you to, you can sort of see it. If you squint a bit. Kind of."
