Either way, it's been more than 5 days, and you'll be expected to bear the cost of serving the summons to you. You had your chance to avoid it.

Well, not necessarily hide information, but I thought perhaps they posted something that later became irrelevant, and then got rid of it, since they couldn't delete the post.

I have to think that it's been turned into a polar thing just because it's another thing to argue about. If you'll recall, Bush advocated a guest-worker program of sorts within the past couple of years...not sure what happened with that...and he actually speaks quite good Spanish, arguably better than his English, actually

I've got to say, I hardly think this classifies as a HUGE problem.

Jeez...yet another day with fewer than 500 posts. Barely this time, but still. Kind of depressing, really.

Well, I thought it was rather clear that he was proclaiming in a slightly clever way that we were getting rather off topic. Kind of ironic that you would miss something so obvious when you're extremely critical of anyone who doesn't notice every single unimportant detail in other topics.

Eh, I never really used the IRC channels. That became a rather serious thing for a while way back when, since it got to the point that pretty much all the decisions for anything that happened on the board happened in IRC chat with the crowd in there...frustrating for those of us who didn't really like it.

Well, it's not so much his not being religious...nothing wrong with that, you're right about that, Danielle..."I hate organized religion" is a rather stronger sentiment, though.

I've actually found that playgrounds are nice for dates. Obviously, you don't go to a playground for a date with a girl, that's just stupid. But I mean if you go out to dinner or something and then are walking around talking, then it can be fun to head to a nearby park with a swingset and the like. It helps have a nice, comfortable, fun atmosphere that's pretty much just the right kind of...air...for a casual date with someone you're trying to get to know better.

I'm actually surprised it's been over a month before a big fad. I don't think April 1st was big enough to really consider it such. And the guns/weapons name change thing didn't really catch on. Too bad, as Sniper Skydude had a ring to it. Not as good as Desert Eagle Danielle, though.

I'm not sure when you came online for this, but it was originally a much smaller, more subtle thing, which is what he made the thread about. And then this banner was made in response to that.

I feel sorry for college students who have Spring Break in the middle of a semester. It really cuts down on the fun when you need to be worried about papers and midterms and the like. That's why I love the quarter (effectively trimester, as summer quarter isn't really part of the normal year) system. Well, one of many reasons.

Well, Thoughtless is in college, isn't that right? And actually, that kind of schedule is pretty normal for colleges. Only those of us on the quarter system have a timeline more similar to that of high school year schedules.

Well you said you were leaving, Elmo, and I didn't know whether you meant from here for a while or just as a mod or what...and you seemed like you didn't want to give advice either.

So as for a question, something I've always been a bit awkward about...what's a good way to find out if a girl is single? It's just so hard to work into a conversation with someone you're talking to without making it obvious that you're interested and it coming out really clumsily, and if you don't find that out and things are going well and you ask for their number...well, that's just awkward.

Well in that case, maybe we should see what it would look like if you had one of these flashing banners that said "Acmlm's Board" rather than Starlight RO.

Or at least make that an option...since I don't really like it that much.

Even when I post drunk...which isn't very often, mind you, but still...I tend to have proper spelling and grammar. It just...takes me a little longer.

And go Danielle for keeping Twinkle Star forever alive on the boards through your bio...which is basically just an adaptation of my temporary Twinkle Star layout, but still cool.

This new SEED Stargazer thing that's coming out doesn't have Kira or Lacus, and doesn't have Fukuda or his wife working on it, from what I can tell. I think the SEED universe is decently interesting, but those four factors can screw it up royally. I have high hopes for this series if I've understood these things correctly.

Well, quite a few people are able to post incredibly stupid things without being drunk...and several people can post intelligent things WHILE being drunk...so the two shouldn't really be seen as one and the same.

Speaking of indoor ice skating rinks, I went to one last night. Didn't skate, actually. Are any of you familiar with the game "broomball"? It's played at these rinks, and is a crazy and fun game. The trombones of the LSJUMB dominated the Cal trombones section, 6-2.
