I'm not sure if the kind that my mom buys now is significantly different than what I got before, I've gotten worse at eating it somehow, or what...but I know that what I remember was very easy to get nice long strings off of, but the stuff in my fridge lately seems to come off in bigger pieces, or comes off long before the whole length of the stick of cheese.

I do like the word esoteric. I don't use it nearly as often as I should, though. Perhaps I'll need to start.

Ask me about the new GameFAQs look in a few months, and THEN I can give you a more accurate reading of whether it makes me seethe.

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind has gotten pretty good reviews too if you don't mind something a few years older. I started playing a bit and was somewhat overwhelmed...I imagine Oblivion would be worse in that regard.

Yeah, the quiet Asian types can actually be huge players sometimes, it's really surprising.

Well congrats on that, and hold onto her well. I've felt that way before, and screwed it up for various stupid reasons...several times, actually. So even if you feel it less at points, give it time before you do anything about it, otherwise you could be hitting yourself about it later.

Well, I didn't really mean the people would necessarily be friendly...I meant more the environment and the climate, and you can't really deny that.

Well, maybe you can if you're talking about people wandering about and into swamps and getting eaten by alligators

Danielle, you say that like it's unusual. From my own memory, it's almost always the case that 1st & 2nd are light years away from 3rd. Occasionally that'll be shifted so 1st is far away from 2nd & 3rd which are closer, or merely that 1-3 are way ahead of everyone else. But SOMETHING like that almost always seems to be the case.

Hey, Danielle's usually the one getting shot, not the one doing the shooting. Which makes me wonder why she takes the risks that she does with guns...

Well, Danielle, it's pronounced "sheek" so you're right in that regard. I did a search on www.m-w.com for just that to see if it gave me the correct spelling, and it did. It's chic. Go to the site and see for yourself. It's a great place because it actually has the pronunciations of the words spoken rather than dealing with those weird phonetic symbols.

So the issue seems to have been solved. It CAN be done but it most likely WON'T be in any case. There. Done. Finished. On to the next topic!

I say....fish.

Well, the thing about adapting the strip for other parties is that it's not really just a strip attacking a political party. The text in there is direct from several news articles on the election. I guess that's what I find funny...it's another take on the same information.

I was discussing the voting thing with a friend of mine lately, and came up with a solution that would be, in fact, a terrible solution, but might get the desired result. Take away (or restrict somehow) voting rights. Then after the thousands of protests that would erupt, even among people who wouldn't have voted, you let them vote again. And I think the turnout would be higher than usual. When people can't vote for long periods of time (or perhaps have never been able to), when they finally get a say in government, they want to take it. Look at the huge turnout in elections in Iraq and Afganistan.

Well, I think the product that I refer to is advertised as string cheese...and it does peel a bit, just not all that well. When I'm home again I'll need to check to make sure, because that could indeed be the issue.

Also, Danielle, even if he did say you were doing the shooting, that doesn't mean the story doesn't hold up as a whole...because it just means that he's wrong, that's all.

And you know, that "denial" joke works a lot better audially

Well, technically, I think tied for last is everyone who doesn't even have one point. And you're several points ahead of people with even 1, too.

I'm just shocked Danielle didn't come and post 5-6 times in the 70 minutes or so I was gone at church for the end of yesterday

Part of it has to do with the fact that they use different voltages in their outlets. I'm not sure if that's all of it, or if there are other reasons...it could be just a historical accident.
