Holy Shit!!!
I've been modding 3D fps games for a while now (Quake III, UT2004, HL2), but I've never seen a homebrew project like that. Fucking awesome... |

Strange name or no, I just haven't seen enough to make me want to actually buy the Wii. I've seen lots of cool titles for the 360 like Gears of War, PD Zero, Kameo EOP and a host more, but the Wii? All I've heard is speculation, rumors and some not very helpful E3 shows.

Altough I owned a Super NES, I never actually got to play Earthbound on one. I played it a couple of years back on an emulator though, but I didn't really like it. Fun, no doubt, but the game mechanic is a little flawed.

I reckon we should just do 16-bit. You can pack more detail into a 16-bit sprite, meaning players can have more original characters (There are only so many combinations for an 8-bit sprite). Also, 8-bit is before a lot of people's time (I grew up with 16-bit), so the nostalgia value would be lost on them.

I prefer the japanese dub. The english dub doesn't sound like what I believe the characters should. I mean, Sepiroth just doesn't sound right unless he's speaking japanese.
And of course the movie is fanservice. Fan service for fanboys like me XD |

It's just that I'm on slow dial-up internet and every page takes ages to load.

Sonic Robo Blast just wasn't that good. Neither was the sequel. But check out the visual effects of this new game! If it plays half as good as it looks...

Dariuj was only slightly surprised when another ship came into view. Stopping the engines of his ship, Dariuj let it drift, while he observed the unknown ship.
No, it can't be! Samus Aran! (edited by Clockwork JB on 04-30-06 08:24 PM) |

Reno's "yo" thing is cool. It adds to the contrast between him and Rude.

I like backgrounds though! It seems like your just avoiding 16-bit because of the work it might involve.

I personally like the old voice because of its nostalgia value. SMW was the first game I bought for my SNES, back when I was 4 years old (12 years ago). I loved my SNES and I still hav the same one to this day (Although I've gone through 5 AC adaptors).

I stick with FF. IE is loaded with adware and viruses on my computer, but none of these seem to affect FF. As for freezing? Never happened to me.

Shadow was alright, its just that people were dissapointed because it wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be. And Robo-Blast 2? Fun no doubt, but the physics weren't quite Sonic and the multiplayer just plain sucked. (edited by Clockwork JB on 05-02-06 12:25 AM) |

I prefer the name Revolution. It declares the console's intention of changing the way we look at gaming. But Wii? That means nothing to me.

Oh, alright then. But I warn you, I'm no good at 8-bit sprites.

Not trying to make any childish jokes, but Wii!? Revolution just plain sounds cooler.

Sonic would be ruined if they tried to make it too mature. I mean, he's a blue talking hedgehog, so you can't exactly make him adult.
