Yeah, I've decided...
The overworld is generally the same as before, except Jade Jungle (previous World 3) no longer exists, and now there is a Star Road. I just like the Star Road because it gives me more opprotunities (eh...did I spell that wrong?) to make multi-exit levels, thus, be more of a bitch in hiding the said exits, which I always love doing. Every level, however, is being re-done. Some levels will be similar to previous ones. And Luigi, glad to hear you like it. I last released this...way long ago, as you said, back in the day. |

Thanks...I can't seem to find a place where I made the mistake you listed (diagonal ends, I'm imagining, of the cliffs), but, eh...

Actually, SMCIA is really old for a romhack. I started it in 2003, and have released many demos since then, including one on this SMW Hacking page, as well. And yes, thanks, I am happy with the colors as well.
On a sidenote, Aioria, that's pretty funny...an ancient civilization in my sci-fi book was populated by people who called themselves "Aeorians". |

Oh, is the flaming over? FINALLY. *high-fives SNN*
Those are absolutely amazing graphics. Like I know everyone's said it, but it's true. Luckily for me I'm past the stage of my hacking career where I'll look at amazing graphics and drool over them, but there are a few there I would want, no doubt about it. I'm really going to have to learn ripping - obviously it's no fair to wait for other people to make them. "Green Fields 2" has a really nice BG, and I love the tilesets in "Underground Ruin", "Rocky Valley 1", the background in "Morton's Castle", and the tilesets in the underwater levels. Also, I liked the SMB3 graphics in "Lakeside Hills 2". The overworld's nice...I dunno, something about it seems a tad sketchy. The water just doesn't seem to blend into the other areas or something, and the texture of it...eh. I dunno. It's not bad, it's just weird in a bad way...(isn't being that much help...) |

Yeah, the sandy cliffs were supposed to look like desert sand, which is why I got rid of the details of the tiles and made it just a solid color. I do see your point, but that's what I wanted to portray.
JJ - I am so happy people actually remember this thing ...my demos will be unleashed as I finish worlds. I'll release a demo after doing these worlds: World 2 World 4 World 7 Special World/Star Road (final version, except for one released possibly to fix glitches) It'll take me a while to get started, I'm alternating days between hacking and writing my book, on top of that I, sadly, have a summer job, but I'll do my best. |

Eggvine takes a bit of work, but if you just try hard enough you should get it. The only editor I can think of that practically screams at you on the topic of how to use it is Lunar Magic. Most other editors, like hacking the game itself, require time, effort and trial/error. And I mean no offense, if you can't put these things into hacking, you're probably not made for anything more than SMW hacking, and even making a good one of those takes quite some time. | |||

Ignore the stupid title, and the fact that I don't know Spanish for jack.
Anyway...yeah. There isn't anything I want to do in Pokemon hacking, but as for SMW Hacking, that I definetely need. I'm The 13th Prodigy, previously known here - but still known as Draconis Kenjishiya. I started a SMW hack called "Super Mario's Crystal Island Adventure" waaaaay back in the day, 2003 I think, and have recently gotten back into working on it. I'm also working on a Yoshi's Island hack and am a beta tester for Interdpth's Zero Mission editor. ...that's about it, really. |

I like the Renzors, and if I knew anything about custom sprites I'd put in to action a nasty idea with the Viruses...the Goomba is pretty cool, except I'm not that fond of its' walking animation. It kinda looks like it's shuffling around or something. | |||

Okay, now this is messed up. I'm making a level, standard horizontal side-scrolling, and I used the SMB2 background found in Demo World, y'know, the one with the grass, palm trees and sky. When I enter the level, the BG is fine, but when I go down a pipe, and after I'm done in that room, come back, there's garbage on the bottom of the screen.
Eh? I have a solution to this: send the pipe to another "TEST" level in Lunar Magic and have it mirror the original level, but that uses up "TEST" levels. If anyone knows how to fix this, or if they need screenshots, let me know. Thanks. |

What the...512 levels? Seriously? Lunar Magic, as far as I can see, goes from Level 0 to 1FF, right? (damn...has to do math...)
Yeah, 96 levels can be accessed from the overworld, I only use like 78 or something like that. But as for secondary levels unaccessible until you're actually in the level (pipe levels, secondary rooms, ecetera)...512 levels?? WHERE ARE THEY ALL?! *runs around* Anyway...yeah, I fixed the garbage stuff. Thanks for your help, guys. |

Whaddya mean no one cares?! DO I NOT EXIST?! *flails arms* This is gonna kick ass! I'll be on IM later to see how you're doing with this...I've already came up with an item collection sequence, boss sequence and all that for a hack of this called "Metroid Twilight"...and if I can put what I want from Super Metroid into this hack, I'll be the happiest li'l Metroid hacker ever!! The only problem I have is the Chozo Statues and upgrades. Like, they all face one way, and each upgrade has their own statue, I'd prefer just to put the upgrades into standard statues like Super Metroid, but I can work on that later. I'll be on IM to beta test this later, and will update here occordingly. |

Hmm...for some reason I can't access Lonely Island 1. I beat the first level, and now I'm in the overworld, standing on the tile for Lonely Island 1, and the damn thing won't let me in...
Anyway, I thought the hack, so far, looked pretty good...the first level was a bit flat with too many enemies, but thought out, as far as the POW thing went. The overworld...eh. I dunno. Just...vary it up a bit, y'know? Make it different here or there. |
