SIx Face Sal was tough in his last phase, due to the fact that 5 of his faces shot the yellow cactus. The first time I played that level, I would have gotten 100 if I hadn't have gotten hit. Same with the next 6 times I tried it.

But I finally beat it last night with a perfect score Now comes the challenge of 5-7.

I'd just like to note that I also totally agree on the difficulty of 3-4. I think I got a 43 on the first run through on that level, and the boss knocked my star count to 10 because I didn't know how to hit it

The boss of 3-4 never pulled me under, he just came slightly up and hit me because there is only two rafts and he typically knocks one out.

And I totally can't find the character coin on 1-7

If used with a star or Yoshi, it can produce an interesting effect But it's definitely a choke.

And I agree with Colin. What better way to reduce stress then playing the fly swatting game

Hmm. I like it, but I would prefer if the ROM hacking section actually stayed under General, and then Art/Entertainment under that (and perhaps Craziness under that ). Also, maybe it's just me, but I'm so used to having Gaming at the bottom and ROM Hacking at the top that it would be nice if they stayed somewhat like that. The rest I don't really care - it looks fine to me

(of course, not really my choice, but meh, thats my opinion)

By the way, how did the ROM-Hacking Releases forum come to be? I know it just kind of popped up, and I've often wondered why it was split from ROM Hacking

Actually, I think he has been working on that hack - Crimson Echoes - for over a year now. I remember playing the demo, and I was fairly impressed. It seemed really well done, so I'm hoping it will live up to my expectations

@OOC: And a haaaaaappppyyy new year!

----------------------------------------------------------

(((((FABIO)))))

You walk over to the corner and open the top drawer first. Inside is a necklace with a cross on it, embroidered in gold. The chain appears to be jammed in the back of the drawer though. You open the second drawer, and there is a tiny little glass box inside of it with a dull red pulsing key inside of that. However, there is no opening to the glass box, so how it got in there is a mystery.

(((((CIRVANTE)))))

You kneel down and touch the small blue crystal. You feel a surge of energy pulse through you, and then you pick it up. On the left and right sides of the crystal, there are two very tiny openings that look big enough to fit a dime, at the most. The top and bottom of the crystal are shaved off, making them blunt. Would this crystal be worth taking with you?

(((((DARKDATA)))))

You pull out your bell and try to scrape the web off the chest. However, the web is much too silky, and all you are really doing is stirring the web around. There are, however, torches lining through the whole mansion. If you had some sort of way to set fire to something, you may just be able to burn the web .. but how on earth could you transport fire safely?

Yeah. I would have to be crazy to attempt that until I had the talent

That was pretty awesome though. I liked the part where you flipped over the horizontal pole and slid under before even regaining your balance. Crazy And I, also, liked the sideways pole part. That seems like it would kill your abdominal area.

Very nice work!

That's it. This is seriously the last straw. I am going to personally write an EggVine tutorial that covers absolutely everything about EggVine so these posts stop. It is not you, personally, that I am mad at, so don't take it this way. I am just so ticked at the fact that people can't use the program. I believe someone posted a while back - graphics will be the LEAST part of your worries after you start, trust me. And .. it's not really trial and error at all. Once you learn what the objects do, the editor is laughably easy to use, aside from a few situations.

For the missing file... err, well, what you say is rather vague. What does the file do?

(as for 1-7 - you think that's bad? Take a look at any sewer level and you may change your mind )

Well, I've been playing it more lately. I like the job system, it adds a really nice touch to the game. If I had one complaint though, it would be the Save feature. Sure, there is quicksave, but it shuts your power off - and personally, after going through a whole dungeon, dying at the boss, and then having to restart from the overworld, is a bit annoying.

I wish it was like other Final Fantasys that had save points in the dungeons - or maybe I just haven't encountered any yet _¬
