Congrats on finally releasing it. You've been making this hack for over a year now, and it looks really good. I will play it tomorrow and write a more detailed review...the reason I'm posting now though, is because I wanted to comment on the screenies (not like it matters anymore, but I at least want to put something here )

I really like the new title screen. The curtain looks much more professional-like then your old one, so that's a plus. I assume you drew it yourself?

I like the first OW, showing Mysterious Castle too. The ghost house, as I said before, looks pretty cool, as do the gravestones. However, if I had to complain about something on this screen, it would be the cliff lines around the latter on the left hand side. They just look...odd.

Star World looks good. Do you have to clear the 4 level's to destroy the rocks to get into the castle? Just a guess.

Dark Cemetary looks cool also. However, you probably noticed this, but look at the hills in the top right corner. The dark grey "shadow" on the right side of them looks ugly. It obviously shares the same palettes as the unrevealed paths.

Blaze Caverns....no complaints, it looks great. Do the lava bubbles animate?

As for the level screens, I won't address them individually. Instead, I'll just say they all look really great, and I didn't find any glitches or bugs in any of them. In the fourth one, the eye monster looks really cool. What game is that from, or did you draw it by hand? In the sixth one, the ravens are great. Hell, any sprites from YI are great. In the seventh one, I still think the YI BG turning into a FG looks a tiny bit odd, but since other people like it, thats good. Might be cool if you added a window or something to give it a bit more detail

Again, this is just a small (irrelevant now, because you're done) review by me about what I have seen show far. You have done a really good job with this hack, and it shows great us of originality, custom GFX, etc. I'll be sure to play this, and write and even bigger review ASAP.

@asdf: Yup. If you throw the Mys-Tik down, and quickly rush in front of the flippers, it will boomerang up, and come back to you, allowing you to enter. You will have to solve quite a few puzzles like that throughout the level. This is a pretty easy one to figure out, they will get harder *hands asdf cookies*

@Sukasa: The only thing below that slope is ground, and a monkey. So nothing to help you

Unfortunately, the legal drinking age in Canada isn't until you're 19....*grumble*

Thanks for making the thread Luigi-San

@fabio: Just today? Why, I've taken many days off of YI hacking

@Darkdata: Well, that's assuming I don't get shot or something within the next year or so

@Kamek77: .....no.....don't remind me .....

@KATW: Yeah, I'm an old fart. The special thing I bought myself was McDonalds. Woooo....

I loved my gifts though...I got to go see the Blue Man Group live in concert, those guys are amazing I also got a new baseball glove, musta cost my parents a fortune, but I'll put it to good use. Best gift of all though, was the bobblehead Stewie Griffin from Family Guy. Huzzah!

(and of course, about $200 in total from all my other relatives )

Well, my parents never let me, or themselves, have fast food ever. So I'm more on the skinny side then fat. Every now and then though, I do have fast food, even though I'm not technically supposed to

It was $200 in actual cash....I have like 6 uncles and aunts who each gave me about $20/$10 each, and then my grandparents gave me $100

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes...Hell, I even got surprised when my parents brought home the biggest cake I've ever seen. All the neighbours came over to have some. It was fun.

I remember this. This hack was cool, except for one level in the first world that really drove me insane, and one level full of glitched graphics. Other then those though, this hack was pretty fun. Glad to see you're continuing it Drac
