1. Ectopolis frickin wins.
2. I like the tileset here. I also like how you put in a ghost shy guy.
3. Whats with the parasol on the right side of the screen?
4. The tileset is actually supposed to be a background item from YI...why did you turn it into foreground? Looks nice though
5. Nice, but are those straight things with 2 tiles supposed to be small platform things?

Overall, I think it looks great. I especially like the new Big Boo too, so nice job.

That sounds pretty terrible to me. She seems like a really great girl, and it's surprising that her mother would do that. Typically, kids take after their parents, or look up to them, but it's a good thing she didn't turn out like her mother

I'm kind of clueless as what you could say to her though. Just always be there when she needs someone to talk to, or comfort her when she's having trouble in life. That would be about all you could give her now I guess

@Vince: Believe it or not, all I used was a hex editor. When fabio found the graphics data however, he used TLP. So you could technically use them both

Oh, and bad news guys - I tried using a text table to find the text in the ROM, however, it appears the words are not complete. Jump to $26830 and you will see what I mean. While in game it says "AS LONG AS I HAVE THIS FINAL WEAPON, I CAN CONQUER THE WORLD ANYTIME. SEE YOU AGAIN SONIC." in the hex editor, only every second letter appears. Unless I am missing something, I don't really have a clue where the other half of the words are. ...

Yet.

(of course, my text table consisted of capital letters only, but meh )

Heh...I've heard so much about you icegoom, but I never thought I would see one of your hacks. These are absolutely incredible screenshots, it just feels like a whole new game. I disagree with Kyouji though, I actually think the overworld suits the theme of the game well, but like you said, it is too bright.

Great work, and I love the new sprites
