Huge orange space blocks are just plain ground. They're mainly used with ceilings I've noticed. i wasn't able to geta submarine level working at first either, it's a bit tricky.

You can see some of the ideas I used...course this one only goes up to 2-8, since I haven't released the world 3 demo yet

I have not started editing 3-8 yet...I'm currently on 3-5 - 3-6. If I were to guess though, I would say no. I have experimented with many sprites on lava, including Goomba and floating flower pots, and they all seem to sink. I would guess the same would go for the Naval.

Then again....the goomba and floating flower pots sink in water too...My best guess would be to try putting Naval on lava .. see how it works. That's the only way you're gonna get an innovative hack is to completely screw around with things. I have a good feeling about you though, you seem like you will make a good hacker. And I don't say that about many people

By the way, can you post a screenie? I really wanna see

Finally...FINALLY someone with a half-decent hack. This looks promising. My only complaint is about the last screenie ... looks too plain to me. But I'm serious, I see a lot of potential in you if you keep hacking

Anyways, I must agree with everyone else Lego, you improved a lot. You have a nice overworld, but the cliffs are ugly. Change that and your golden. ok so maybe Luigi-San is right about the bridge too

I like the YI blocks, but I don't like the colours.

Other than that, good work so far.

Patch doesn't work for me...all it does is make the original game slower.

It could either be what Smallhacker said or...

which objects do you wish to appear in ZSNES? Some objects in EggVine are invisible in certain tilesets (so I've noticed)

I wish I could help you more, but I'm at my brothers, and I don't wanna break out all the crap around him (plus he doesnt have EggVine)

Is your ROM headered? If you try to do this to an unheadered ROM, the ROM tends to go crazy afterwards.

I like this, but I agree with Alastor....the status bar is an eyesore. You need some darker colours (I personally prefer dark red )

I like the concept of Toad, and the level design. Those look good.

I'm like.....happy I'm not on this list

I would say my favorites are as follows:

FuSoYa: I loved DW: TLC. Great OW and everything else.
Golden Yoshi: The SMW+ series was one of the first I played and some of my favorites. I like hard hacks
BMF: Why did SMO have to end so abruptly
FPI: His was the first hack I played, and was it ever fun. I mean like....fun!

The rest....meh. I haven't really played

I can't really explain it. It's a string of 200 bytes at the beginning of the ROM in your hex editor. If they're all 00s, then you can't use Ycompress.

I wish I had a headered ROM. But after you start, adding a header to your hacked ROM with massively bastardize it badly
