| UGH, recently, I haven't been able to access my little sister's files (or any other computer's) on the network. However, she can usually access my files and do whatever she likes with them. Currently, neither of us can look at each other's files while we CAN share iTunes.
The network is set up like this: Cable modem->linksys router linksys router->my computer linksys router->3com wireless access point 3 com wiereless access point->sister's computer It always says that I don't have permission to look at her files or that I'm not part of the network. There aren't any firewalls up or anything and I am REALLY puzzled. |

| Ok now all firewalls are down(McAfee, XP), we are on the same workgroup, was able to ping my sister's computer(before, when mcAfee was up, I didn't receive any packets back), I can see the folders she is sharing and she can see mine. We just can't access each other's folders now. But we CAN get to each other's iTunes. And I can also double click on her computer in the "view workgroup computers" tab(couldn't before). |
