Don't TALK about it. DO IT!!

Speaking of people looking like kids who really aren't...

Last week my friend and I went to go see Lucky Number Slevin and I hadn't shaved for like a week and I'm not really too short or have a high pitched voice or anything but was given a child's ticket! Especially funny seeing that it's an R rated movie.

MAJOR SPOILER!!!!

Spoiler:
Storm dies in the movie, along with Scott Summers. With Cyclops, I heard it's b/c he jumped ship to work with Singer in the Superman movie.

I think this movie will be better than the last two. For some reason, I never liked Singer.

YES!!!

Actually, Gambit IS in it but has a severely minor role because the director(i think) said that he's just basically like Cyclops and Wolverine put together.

Despite what they say, this won't be the last movie. We all know it. Everyone who thought Jean died in the second one should be deads.

I'm not really expecting much seeing how the first two were nothing special.(although the 2nd was obviously better)

Apparently, they keep promising that a new UC one is in the works. And possibly roll around in time for the 30th anniversary?

Stargazer looks just as bad as the rest. I don't have any real good expectations for it. The mecha looks just plain stupid. Apparently Kenichi
Ohnuk took over as character designer but they still look like Hisashi Hirai's character designs?! Can you say laziest artist ever? All the characters fuckin' look the same in his works. He made Scryed(the anime) bad. It lost all the aesthetic awesomeness it boasted in the manga. I hate that guy.

I'm not talking about Christianity in particular here or abortion, but rather STDS, specifically AIDS. I think that considering that so many people have so many different ideas, we can all agree on the preservation of life. As such, I think that distributing contraceptives in places like India, China, and Africa would be morally fine, even though I'm all about abstinence, I'm not going to judge others based on my standards. The effort would be simply to lessen casualties around the world. Then, hopefully, people could be less sexually active. That would be optimal.

Well Jack Thompson fails to see that it's not always one factor over another that increases one's tendency to become violent. Video games are hardly any more effective in that than one's life experiences, upbringing(as SS mentioned), environment, etc. But I do think kids should be more aware of real violence. It's far uglier than what we see in movies, games, etc.

The livestock and poultry raised purely to be consumed as food don't have much in the way of a life, anyway. Chickens are born, raised to minimal age, and slaughtered relatively humanely. Larger animals naturally need a longer time to achieve viable size and weight, but can count on a life of plenty as far as food and basic necessities are concerned. No such animal lives a life of luxury, but man is naturally omnivorous and he has tamed the animal kingdom in such a way that, while not ideal - I suppose ideal would be treating each farm-raised chicken as if it were a millionaire's pet poodle, giving it expensive food and its own private living conditions - ably balances economy with some basic degree of humane care.

Like it or not, a human being naturally consumes meat, and the only methods that could produce meat on such a large scale are not methods that many animal rights activists are all that fond of. It's just the way it has to be.

Hahaha. Humanely? It's ridiculous the way they're treated. Chickens stacked on top of one another in crowded silos clawing each others eyes out. Sows belted down while it feeds its children, among other things. It's completely disgusting. Bottom line: Animals don't deserve to be treated like shit. They're basically prepped to produce the most meat and it's so stupid if you see that this is what's making America fat while others starve. WHO NEEDS THAT MUCH MEAT?!

Never have, never will. I will admit, it does look cool. But too many other factors which make it unappealing for me. It really burns my throat, nose, and stuff. Second hand smoke hurts real bad(slight asthma). And the skin, heart, and breathing conditions associated with it don't really make me wanna do it.

I think you're making it seem like there are two extremes. I mean, obviously, nobody eats meat all the time.(haha thats so gross thinking about it) But eating less meat doesn't mean you have to be the new age alternative vegetarian. All it means is eating less meat. And as Snow proposed, giving what we can do without to others. Certainly THAT's not improbable, old chum.
