Yea, see, despite how many times I've said it now, people STILL do it. That's annoying. Someone telling me that I "should be checked out" just kind of pisses me off, frankly. You like ketchup and hate mustard? You should get that checked out, because I can't comprehend that. Just because you can't comprehend it doesn't mean there's something wrong and it needs to be fixed. And what the hell are you getting at, anyway? How the f5ck does one get something like that 'checked out?' What, I go to the hormone doctor and he injects me with something that makes me want to stare at naked women? Is that even possible? If it was, don't you think gay people would be doing it so other people wouldn't tell them how messed up they are and they wouldn't have to deal with being mocked? How the hell would getting this 'checked out' make anything more normal or natural, anyway, if it was even possible? That's like saying Viagra is natural. So, to re-iterate, I'm sorry (yet again) if I implied or offended anyone, but it would be really nice if you people who are telling me that I should be 'checked out' (or implying such) would stop. I know I must've implied some things I shouldn't have, and I'm sorry--I didn't mean to. But this is kind of rude and insulting. Just because I'm different and it confuses you, that doesn't mean there's something wrong with me, and I certainly don't need to be fixed just because I'm not the same as you. 
And you should also be confused because there's 8 other people here besides me who don't find porn attractive, in case you didn't notice. Should they get themselves checked out, too? And if it's all a nice joke and all, sorry, but I find people insulting something innate and out of my control--implying that there's something wrong with me--very rude. Precisely...and by saying that, you're again implying that there is something wrong with me that needs 'fixing,' and I'm sorry, but I find that rude. I've already said this, but maybe you didn't catch it--I am attracted to girls, just not when they're naked. I DO have a sex drive, and I DO get turned on my girls, but I simply don't find naked girls attractive. I don't see how that means there's something wrong with me. And I'm not defensive because you were aggressive, more than you came off as insensitive. Maybe that's my fault because when I feel like I'm being judged for something I'm not or someone thinks there's something wrong with me when nothing is, I get agitated. You may not have been aggressive, but you can certainly be rude/insensitive without being aggressive. It's actually easier to do, I would argue. Anyway, sorry for snapping at you. |

| The only reason I feel insecure is because I hate people assuming I'm something I'm not--that's just a trait of mine.
If you were assuming I hated Playstation or XBox simply because I love Nintendo and started telling me I was just a hopeless Nintendo fan-boy, etc., I would be just as defensive about it--this just happens to be a more personal matter. So I don't quite agree with you when you tell me I wouldn't be defensive. I don't think there's anything wrong with me, I just know that I'm weird, and I don't like people probing at it and implying that me being weird is wrong and needs to be corrected. Whether he said that in a polite way or not, he still implied that there was something innately wrong with me. Would you enjoy it if someone did that to you? It may simply be that I'm just more sensitive to certain things, I don't know. There are plenty of people who, I dunno, simply don't like being accused of being something they're not. Maybe I'm alone on this, but it seems kind of normal to me. When random strangers joke about my sexuality, I don't really find it humorous. Perhaps if I knew people here better, it wouldn't offend me because I knew they were joking. *shrug* |

Yea, and they SHOULD pay some homage to Yoshi's Island, because they've done Yoshi stages, but they were Mario World and Yoshi's Story, not Yoshi's Island. I'm hoping there'll be a lot of new stuff. After all, they're building off of Melee, I would imagine. |

And a psychological addiction is STILL an addiction. And for some people, porn is as addicting as nicotene, if not more so, because I'm thinking that the nature of testosterone is much more powerful than most drugs. Again, I would LOVE to understand how you people seem to know doctors who can alter one's sex drive. Because if I could do that, I'd probably make mine die for a few years until I actually have a wife, or something. And dude, what the hell, man? You people keep on assuming things about me. XD Please tell where it was I said I didn't masterbate--I didn't.  I NEVER said that, because that would be a flat-out lie. Like I said, some of you seem to be jumping to conclusions here. I DO masterbate like a lot of guys my age, I just don't look up porn to do it, because naked women just do not arouse me. Women do, just not naked ones. And I'm obviously not proud that I masterbate, but yea, I'm not having sex, so I have to do something with that sexual tension. It's a lot better than letting my hormones make me act stupid and do something I might regret.
I don't think I could be asexual when I'm attracted to women--do you? And looking at porn CAN be harmful to people. After all, drinking alcohol and getting drunk doesn't necessarily hurt anyone until you get in a car, and smoking doesn't necessarily hurt people until they have to breathe in the 2nd-hand smoke. Sometimes abuse of pornography CAN lead to other people being hurt--there's this thing called rape, ya see. I'm not saying pornograpy leads to rape, but I have a feeling that abuse of it can be an influence in some way. And for the 11th time, (is it? I lost track) I apologize for saying that porn is some big problem, but it CAN be a problem in certain cases. Maybe next time I shouldn't be the one to volunteer and be open with myself because it only leaves me hanging out to dry while I get probed, which, ya know, is uncomfortable. | OK, so...I love Fullmetal Alchemist. A lot. Really liked it. It had everything I could want from an anime. Marvelous.
Anyway, I haven't seen the movie yet (can't seem to find where to download it, so if anyone has a tip, feel free to send me an e-mail, or something) but I was just wondering if anyone here has watched it, and, if so, it was worth it. Is the conclusion to the series itself good, or does the movie finish things off better? Please try to, like, spoiler-tag stuff, because I'd rather not have it spoiled, I just want some opinions, because I very well may just be satisfied without watching the movie. |

| The link for Super Mario Bros. 3 2nd Quest seems to be broken.
I download a zip, but the zip seems to be corrupted. Matter of fact, the downloads to a lot of demos seem to be corrupted. That is, they don't work when I tryu to extract the zips, and it tells me they're damaged. (edited by D3stiny_Sm4sher on 02-08-06 12:03 AM) |

| I find it amusing that people are 'cringing' at the controller, despite the fact they have yet to hold, let alone use it, let alone SEE it truly used.
I'm sure people were probably a bit concerned when we switched from honking joysticks to D-pads, but that worked out well. People were also wary when Nintendo was, again, the first to introduce a new control scheme--the control stick. And look where THAT'S taken us. I feel confident that Nintendo knows what they're doing--they have a pretty damn good track record when it comes to controls for their consoles. I can hold an N-64 controller and do things perfectly fine (assuming the control stick isn't worn), but I can't do that as well with the standard PS1 controller. Ick. D-Pad, 3-D games? Yucky. I'm not concerned about the controls right now, because I have yet to play a Nintendo game that frustrated me control-wise (aside from Mario 64 DS, but that was expected--D-pad, 3-D game? Yucky). I'm more concerned with features, characters, that stuff. When E3 comes around and we see how the controller works, THEN I'll think about it. |
