I make a variant of ramen noodles too -- it's just the Mi Goreng ones, but I add egg to it and prawn.

Makes it more filling too, and adds some actual nutritional value.

If I had a real problem with anything here it would be the ACS and syndromes, but people don't seem to care about those as much as they used to. Still, lots of people have pretty blatantly spammed in the name of ACS/syndromes. Most of them never really see any consequences for it.

Meh, I know what you mean about those ones. I guess a moderator at one point will have to step in and ask for some actual contribution/content, but it's not an easy issue to raise with another person.

But yes, good moderation is part of the solution. I think general users underestimate their value as far as positive impact on the board goes too. I know they can't act like "mods" as such, but there are still ways I think that the general populace can make sure this place is the best it can be

Ah... I work, so that's pretty much out of the question. I think the last time I was posting heavily I wasn't working or something. That certainly makes it a lot easier.... trying to play the posting game while it's busy on telephones at work just... doesn't happen

Hell, I'm lucky at those times if I can think out a sentence without it being interrupted with instructions for how to log into the computer or something

Yes, well she's right. From memory, they seem to be full of MSG, and oils and salts and artificial flavours. And I don't think a shred of anything that actually is good for you.

It's fine if you're using the instant noodles as a base for something with real... actual... food in it... but generally all it will really do for you otherwise is make your belly warm and full for a while.

My sleep patterns are currently broken and useless.

I go to bed too late, I have trouble getting up in the mornings, on weekends I go to bed even later and sleep till ridiculous hours of the day.

As this is generally not like me, I'm not happy with it, and I suspect that something is very messed up

Besides, it makes my head hurt.

Yeah, it's messing with my general productivity too. I feel like I'm not doing a great job at work lately cause I'm tired, miserable and distracted, and outside of work I'm not achieving anything because I'm tired... miserable and distracted.

Actually, a fair amount of my general cheerfulness can be tied to my productivity, a sense of achievement and the like. If I'm not sleeping, I tend to not do things I should, and then I feel down

Or it could just be that I'm slipping into Depression again, but I hope not.

I had an ant problem when I moved into my new place.

I solved it by buying a particular ant poison that they take back to their nest. It kills the whole colony. It's good

That was my problem when I moved into this place. I didn't notice the one or two scavenger ants around the place near-constantly, but I discovered the very first time I cooked, that I couldn't afford to leave ANYTHING at all for even 5 minutes before it would be absolutely crawling with ants.

One should not have to do the dishes in between cooking and eating. I like to eat my dinner while it's warm too.

So I killed them with some nice happy poison. Haven't seen a single ant since.
