I'm also going to be a bit rude and cynical and say that this thread to me seems like an attempt to guilt somebody / place an amount of blame on somebody more than an actual leaving thread.

Honestly, if you have a problem with another person, it's a private matter between the two of you, not a board matter. I don't care if that other person is a board member either. Disputes or problems arising between other members shouldn't be a reason to leave, create drama, or otherwise cause a fuss on the forums itself.

Chances are in these kinds of disputes you're not even leaving because of the forum itself -- so don't.

Depends why I'm pulling the all-nighter. If it's something social I'm likely drinking...

If it's to reset my body-clock as sometimes I need to do, then I watch anime. Lots of anime. Last time I watched the entire first series of Initial D. Then during the day I did shopping and helped out my Nanna and did my washing and went to bed early and that seemed to fix things.

It featured in an episode of The Chaser's War on Everything. The Chaser team were doing a segment called "What Have we learned from Current Affairs this Week?" in which they discussed (mocked) local television shows Today Tonight and A Current Affair's coverage of "Youth Gone Wild" stories.

Both of these shows made claims that youth are running wild, as demonstrated by footage of teenagers yelling abuse, throwing things, driving around in cars on fire.... sitting on the side of the road... riding bicycles... talking with friends on porches... (OMFG YOUTH GONE WILD!!)

After one show declared "Dolly Magazine" (trashy teen-girl magazine that seems to encourage underage girls to dress as slappers and idolise celebrities) as "experts" on youth, they went to show another "professional" opinion... a "psychologist" appeared on A Current Affair offering an explanation for why so many youth have gone wild.

"It's a very rare condition, it's called the Princess Bitch-Face Syndrome"..

EDIT: OMFG HE WAS SERIOUS!!! Okay.... I wonder if he's called it that just to sell books though.

I'm not afraid. I just don't like the fact that smoking ruins lungs and drinking ruins brains and bodies.


Okay, I will concur with you on the smoking, but drinking is shown to have several positive effects upon the human body.

That's how I feel.


That's how I wish more people would feel. If you're not hurting anybody else in the process, I don't see a problem.

I have a slight issue with smokers who are inconsiderate of others (ie, won't smoke outside / passive smoking), but provided most smokers ask if their non-smoking companions mind or not if they smoke, it's fine with me.

I have an issue with abusive drunks too.

All comes down to the whole "not hurting anybody else" thing

Okay, sometimes I DO just want a little bit of a pat on the back for 17+ hours of coloring in.

Most the time I like my critiques to be balanced though. If you point out something bad, point out something I did good too Otherwise how am I gonna know that I'm not a total screwup?
