Well, I think for some reason they must have thought that I was a child. I remember the conversation going a little like this...

Her: Can I speak to your mummy or daddy?
Me (highly annoyed): No.
Her (confused): Why not?
Me: Because I don't live with them.
Her (still thinking I'm a child): Uh... why...?
Me: I haven't lived with them for at least the past 7 years. I'm 25 years old, and highly offended, goodbye.

I don't think they ever called back.

Well, you sorta do have to, in order for the end result to look good.

I assume it was your intention to take the original and make your own improvements? I that was the case, you needed to take more care with the recoloring. You've lost a whole lot of detail in places that was there before, for example -- the white spot is one of the most obvious.

The "inverting" of shadow and light in some places and not in others is also visually confusing.

Yeah, I have the same problem. However, I have a few people I talk to on a semi-regular basis, and I would consider those people to be friends, despite the frequently disjointed and random conversation.

This is the first time I've ever heard of this "Jump Day" but it seems.... very... silly to me.

Now, if it was "jumping" as in "jumping rope" (or such) and was some kind of international fitness thing (considering the general lack of fitness and rise in obesity) then it might be kinda cool and less... stupid.... but it's not....

You REALLY need to write better posts. I can't make out any sense from what you're saying, because you have assumed that everybody else knows what you're talking about without providing any information.

What kind of show is it? Same kind of "feel" to it as Space Ghost Coast to Coast and such, or something else?

What is it you find funny about the show?

I hate the burning sensation in my nose after I take a nasal spray. I know it's supposed to decongest the nose, but I'm not convinced that it's supposed to do that by making me sneeze like hell while moaning "it burns" in between.

The real problem tends to occur when users go back a few pages and bring back threads months old (and pages back in the history), for replies such as "lol".

Personally I think once something slipped down to the second page, it's best left alone, and a new thread started instead if there's real discussion to be made.

I don't really care much about age if it's on the first page of a forum, provided that real content is added. However, bumping something up from the second or sixty-fourth page only creates confusion.

Once upon a time when Acmlm's was more active I would have gone beyond "second page" in that too, but I don't think we're that active anymore.... threads on the second page and beyond have usually died a nice peaceful death.

Playing around with isometric pixel art again. Apologies for any stuffed up colours, this was done on my laptop, which is not the best tool for colors frankly.

This is my loungeroom.



The door at the back leads to my bedroom, bathroom, toilet and spare room.
The door to the front leads outside (front of the flat)
The door to the side leads to my kitchen.

Hopefully loading this shouldn't take too long, but this is hosted at my home, so bear with it.

It's now quarter to one in the morning, so I think I should work on this later.

The room with blue carpet will be my bedroom. The other thing I've half done is the hallway. More rooms hopefully to come.

I don't know what's going on. I tried to reboot my gateway to see if that would work, but it still isn't working. I suspect the dynamic DNS is down or something, which is out of my control. The actual web service is up and everything...

Yeah, I've been playing with the arrows, but no matter where I put them it looks wrong Silly arrows.

Well, working on the bedroom...



Need to work out how to give my flooring some texture -- it's floating flooring, looks sort of like floorboards, only too flat and too neat and perfect (I like real floorboards). Whatever I do it needs to be pretty subtle...

As for the window thing, it's just an attempt to do those stupid see-through white curtain... thingies. I don't have real curtains here (I'd like them though), but at least these keep the neighbours from seeing everything I'm doing when I DO actually open the blinds.
