The Man Show... while something I tended to also find fairly offensive, in its early seasons with Adam and Jimmy.... was funny.

I was unfortunate enough to view the later stuff and it was just offensive, not funny.

I don't know for sure yet, I know that the other ovary hurts and I know that I have "general" issues. From what little information the doctors are giving me, I'm not ovulating, so I probably already am infertile

I dunno why you guys have so many wacky flavors of Coke.

I don't go out of my way to drink any Coke unless it's as a mixer, but if I were in a position where I had to choose, I'd have a Vanilla Coke.

Coffee flavored coke sounds bad to me. I'd just prefer a proper real espresso, strong as hell.

Considering that it's a website that will be under a reasonable amount of scrutiny by parents and students, you would have to be very careful.

Without even discussing the possibility of "doing damage" remember that there are rules with what you can and can't post on the internet, and even some innocently posted things may wind you in hot water if you do not have permission to post certain things.

I would run your stuff past a staff member. Chances are if you do the right thing the school will stand up for you if anything does go wrong. If you're a malicious little shit, they won't.

Oh and for the record, I'm not just talking out of my arse here -- I had to run a school website once and there were a whole lot of legal considerations to take in mind. You will probably need written permission to post artwork, writings of students, etc, and you will have to be especially careful with regards to posting any photographs of students.

This only works on my Mac, and the only reason it works on my Mac is because it uses a 1024 x 768 screen resolution.

My monitor at work has a higher native resolution so the screen is stretched, and then your text floats over in the middle of nowhere, half in your borders, half out.

My monitor at home is widescreen and makes the issue even worse.

You need to make this a stretching layout, or at least code it so that it is fixed in a way that will not break dependent on other people's screen resolution. Tables are a start, and it shouldn't be too hard to do.

And yes, there's no bottom. Even on my Mac.

Because plain and simple Coke probably doesn't generate enough "hype" for the brand. They can release a new advert for it, but it's still the same Coke.

If they release a new variety of Coke, it generates a bunch of hype (see this thread for an excellent example) and interest in the product and brand. When that particular new variant stops selling so well, it's time to get rid of it and release another new one... and so forth.

At least, this is the way I seem to see it. It doesn't just happen with Coke and soda.... I see it with Chocolate and other stuff too.

Ah, I knew somebody would beat me to it. Yes, it isn't a legal issue. It's a matter of company policy. Sure, that company policy might be tested legally, but there are no overreaching legal rules on it as far as I understand, just the usual equal opportunity stuff.

Different companies and organisations will have their own rules on the matter, so the only way you will know for sure is as said -- ask your boss or another longstanding coworker

Well, I went on some retail therapy today. I bought a pair of jeans and was delighted to discover that I now fit in a size smaller than previously. I felt better. I bought a shirt too, I'll wear it tomorrow and spend all day sucking my gut in.

I felt girly and attractive for a bit, which is nice, especially at a time when I'm worried about a huge part of my physical femininity.

I'll tell you what though.... I'm sick of the darned pains.
