I really hope it goes away soon. It hurts my teeth thinking about it.
I know alot of people who had their's yanked out and all of them complained of the pain. I'm very anxious about it all, never had them taken out yet.

I haven't had mine taken out yet, but I'll admit I'm slightly anxious about it too.

Although I guess having gone through surgery last year to have an ovary removed has relieved a significant poriton of that anxiety. That thing hurt a shitload, but I guess it makes me feel better somehow about future pain....

My teeth have given me various discomforting feelings over the last few years, but not sure if this means anything or not. I think this means they're "coming up" I am not yet in any pain thanks to Wisdom Teeth, but I suspect I should see a dentist

I must be one of the few people who is not even remotely interested in an English version of this.

I prefer to watch Japanese films in Japanese for one, however I honestly was not excited by Advent Children the way so many others seem to have been. It seemed like...... well... fanservice...

'Ctrl+Click' outside of the workpath allows you to create another path while keeping your previous path. This new path is called a "subpath". You can stroke the subpath separately or all together.

Right-clicking on the workpath opens up 'stroke path', 'fill path' or 'make selection'. And with the selection tool, you can change it back to a work path.

Holding control with an active workpath allows you to manually alter your current path. This comes in handy when you're doing curves or if you mess up.

Pressing 'Enter' (with the 'Pen' tool still active) will deactivate your workpath. Some people make the mistake of pressing 'Escape' twice, it's just annoying and time consuming.

[ ! ] When penning, make sure your brush/pencil settings are correct. You don't want to accidentally use a grungy brush and make a poopstain instead of that clean line you wanted.

Just some quick tips for ya!

See, that requires effort, I like to just draw

I dunno if "trying" is necessarily something you need to have done either to base an opinion on something, but I do think that basing an opinion hastily on others actions is also not great....

I think smoking is one of the worst habits you can take up, but then this opinion is based on not only my own experiences with it, but also those of friends -- friends who have loved it, friends who have been addicted and quit, friends who are addicted and cannot quit. It's taken me a while to come to this opinion, because for a while all my opinion was was... "meh", I didn't care.

But after watching good friends suffer with it, and struggle, I'm more anti-smoking than I was before.

I know I can't stop anybody who ENJOYS smoking, but I like to try to help those who are trying to quit. And I know that I smoke from occasion too... Nobody's perfect. But I guess overall I'm against it, but I'm also completely for a person's right to make their own decisions (and mistakes) and for the most part I stay out of it all I'm the one that will put up with your mood-swings when you quit though

lol... I know that feeling (currently living on rice crackers and other cheap food due to a severe lack of funding).

Well, if you do have a tablet, openCanvas (despite it's severe Engrish) is a great program to use with it User friendly, simple and versatile

Another thing I used to do was try to scan in mostly-completed sketches, and use things such as Levels and uh... .. uhm.... (mental blank).... Adjustments > Threshold to create linework

Oooh ooh! Or you go to the layers/channels/paths thing, and go to Channels... find the Blue Channel and copy it, then I think it's.... Ctrl+I.. which inverses it. Then go back to Layers, and create a new layer. Go to Select and Load Selection. Pick "Blue Copy" from the Channel" drop down

This gives you a layer with a selection on it that you can fill with black paint, or blue or brown or grey or a gradient, or whatever color you'd like to use as your linework

Well, I would have thought it does, as traditionally a lot of arguments argue when it might be OKAY to abort something during this process.

IE, at what point does it become human / attain a soul / whatever?

Is it right from the get-go when it divides into two cells? Or exactly when ?

Is there EVER a point after sperm meets egg that it's okay to terminate that mass of cell structure?

Personally, I liked the way Penny Arcade dealt with him.

Sure, they weren't necessarily polite, but they really did do a good job of sticking it to him

I'd remove some of the line detail from the hand and also from the arms. I get the impression you are trying to show muscle tone; but I think for a girl it's best to do it with shading and not linework (softer looking).

Coloring is good, and it's good to see you experimenting with line width/heaviness too.

Bio, Alastor -- care to elaborate on either of your points?

As for me, I'd like to know if that red stuff is supposed to be emitting red light... it might be cool to have red light on the edges of things.... ie, the cliff, the flying things, etc, and possibly add to the dark feeling of the pic. Red light in the clouds, too..... make it look all hell-ish and scary

Well why not try This Pack

I just have, it's pretty impressive

(Yes I know it's messy, oh and the winamp file is a Gwen Stefani Mashup.. in case you think it's something else!)

and after installing (and some messing about with it) here's the
After pic

You also get some customisable transparency effects which are pretty nifty.

Anyone else tried this?

EDIT : After some more tweaking (i.e upping the resolution a bit, and changing things round) You end up with This

What can I say, I like Black

lol... "eerily Mac-like" Nah, it's still definitely Windows.

Personally, I'm not hugely fond of the look of Vista (or the look of XP Luna for that matter), as the UI still seems incredibly inconsistent.

Eh. Mario looks too tall, and the face seems too serious. Various body parts are not proportional to how Mario is "supposed" to look. Simply put, he's off-model

Thankyou for elaborating. That makes more sense than "off model"

Keep a drink (of your choosing) in your hand where possible. Most people (generally) will see that you already have a drink and won't press the issue.

But don't stress if you do have one or two -- dieting isn't about depriving yourself of fun in the short term, it's a lifestyle change. And nobody said that that lifestyle change means you can't have some fun on special occasions

Just don't drink all the red sugary raspberry vodka in the place

And make sure you make up for your fun later by doing a little bit extra exercise and/or skipping something naughty later

Well, I can think of worse keys that could stop working.

The spacebar REALLY annoys me if I get one that doesn't work properly. As everybody else has said, you should be able to temporarily re-map it; and perhaps you need to look at getting a new keyboard.

You could also try removing the key entirely and just checking that nothing is jammed or spilt and see if cleaning it up will fix it.

Just don't do it to your entire keyboard Some keys don't like being removed.

Meh. I get lots of small cuts from things like paper, other people's pets (damn kittens) etc.

Worst injury was a deep, long cut through my thumb, that would've required stitches only the doctor thought that would do further nerve and tendon damage.

Still scarred, some five years later; that injury meant I couldn't type or draw or use a dinner knife or such for a couple of weeks.

Meh. Do what you want. My brother exfoliates and puts face cream on, and he fusses over his hair, (which I really don't get, it's shaved so short as that you can't do anything with it).

I just wish he'd pluck his eyebrows.
