Well....

I started out 88kg (194 lbs). I am now 73.8kg (162.70 lbs) and have lost 14.2kg (31.30 lbs).

I intend to lose another 11.8kg (26.01 lbs) which would mean I would weigh 62kg (136.68 lbs).

Chocolate isn't sour!

Dark chocolate IS bitter, but it's not bitter in an overwhelming sense.

I will admit I can't eat dark chocolate in large quantities, but then that is a good thing -- you're not supposed to eat large quantities of chocolate!!

My mother dislikes milk also (and btw, this is off topic). She won't drink milk by itself, not flavored even. She used to have to in school and she loathed it.

She's funny with chocolate -- she will eat chocolate itself, but won't eat anything that is chocolate flavored.

White Chocolate is good -- but it depends on various things like its use and the chocolatier.

See, there's this place near here that makes what they call "Ivory" truffles. Ivory is their name for White Chocolate. Basically an ivory truffle is white chocolate with a creamy milk chocolate truffle centre and it's VERY good. Another chocolatier around here makes Lemon truffles which is lemon/white chocolate with a lemon truffle filling and those are.... gorgeous.

I couldn't eat a block of white chocolate though. Too sugary. Might as well eat condensed milk.

Yes, well that's what a lot of those places do.

Oh and I seem to be keeping steady at 73.6kg. I did eat a little bit naughty on the weekend (I even had bacon and eggs for breakfast on Saturday) but I was moving house so I was busy all day each day too.

Maybe if I keep being good I can get that number down further.

Incidentally, my body fat percentage is higher in the mornings than in the evenings. Usually 35% in the morning, 33% in the evening.

That's before I eat. So it can't be the food.

But yes, I have a good breakfast. Although I don't feel up to eating first thing in the morning, I have it when I get to work.

Personally, I don't like Photoshop at all for CG work. Or mice.

My best recommendation to you for CG work is to get a tablet. A Wacom Graphire is the cheapest in the Wacom range, so it shouldn't cost too much. It has 512 levels of pressure sensitivity, but no tilt sensitivity. If you are willing to save up more money, the Wacom Intuos has 1024 levels of sensitivity, and includes tilt sensitivity.

The best program for Tablet support on a Mac is Painter. Photoshop does some weird stuff where if you draw a curved line VERY FAST it draws a series of short straight lines with corners in an attempt to "catch up". Painter may slow down a bit (depending on what brush/effect you are using) but it will not draw a jagged line... it will be as smooth as you drew it.

Painter is NOT a competitor to Photoshop. If you want to do image editing, photography and such, you'll probably still want Photoshop. Painter is a whole different tool -- it is a painting and drawing tools/materials emulator. Want to color with watercolors? It will emulate that for you.

I don't know how to change the mouse sensitivity in OS X, I haven't found options to do so. I'd check in System Preferences, but if it's not there I don't know where it would be.

Just checked: System Preferences, Keyboard and Mouse (it's in the Hardware row), Mouse tab at the top, Tracking Speed.

Ah cool. I'm at work on my work Windows box, so I didn't get to check it either I guess at least my guess was looking to the general right spot

No.

You can be honest and polite at the same time, just as you can be dishonest and rude at once also. Honesty and manners are not mutually exclusive and to suggest so is... well, incorrect.

Furthermore, it's usually to one's benefit to be polite when being honest. If you present a criticism of another person as politely as possible there is a greater chance that the other person may listen to you -- often a person's response to very harsh or rude criticism is not to listen but to get defensive or rude in return.

Sometimes though you have to be blunt to get a point across, but that can be done without getting too rude (ie, insulting) as well.

Personally I think it's best to act both honestly and politely in dealings with other people where possible, because I value the feelings of others. I would expect to be treated fairly, with openness and respect, and so that is how I treat others.

And to be honest -- I have little respect for those people who are incapable of (or too thoughtless to) treating others with respect and courtesy.
