You said you want to lose weight? Well, here's a good way to start, it helps with feeling a little depressed too...

Go for a walk. Every day if you can, for at least half an hour. Fast. Get your heart rate up, and keep it up over at least the half hour.

It will help you clear your head while you're walking, and it's aerobic exercise, so your body burns oxygen and stored fat to keep going while you do it, so it should help you lose weight.

It should also make you feel better because you're up and moving, getting fitter, and if you keep it up you should notice changes that will make you feel better about yourself too.

I lost 68.34lbs mostly through eating well and walking... And yeah, it made me feel a lot better.

Curse you, you made me actually have to open Photoshop so I can give you the exact wording of the menu items to change the colour information.

Go to Image then Mode and make sure it is on RGB Colour.

If it won't allow you to create layers you are probably on something like Indexed Colour...

Aww, I like puppydogs.

Maybe you can take the dog for a walk with you. Dogs need exercise too and your parents will probably be happy that you are doing the right thing. You will have some trouble for a little bit though while you train the dog to walk fast along with you and not sniff or wee on every lamp post and bush he comes across...

Well, I hope it's the right advice. To be perfectly honest, I hope that the problem is what I think it is.

Course, I like to see exact error messages when people are having problems, not vague "it was something like" descriptions of error messages later....

I'm getting better and better at guessing though, what with my line of work (Help Desk).

Oh god, I'm starting to think you need to go on a course or something, honestly. There is a lot you don't know and given you're asking questions you're not one of those... people that really tinkers with things a lot to find out, are you? A course should get you grounded on all of this kind of stuff and then you'll be free to do lots of nifty things.

Do you have a second partition or anything on your computer with a lot of free space on it? I have a D:\ drive for example that I use as my scratch disk.

If you don't, your only solution is to clear up a LOT of free space on C:\ Photoshop likes lots and lots of free space. LOTS.

Full artwork not ENTIRELY completed yet, but for a sneak peak at what I've thus far spent 200+ hours and crashed my computer innumerable times whilst working on....

I'll show you the full thing when I've probably spent another 100 hours on it Which I'm not doing right now as I'm hopped up on antibiotics, painkillers and eyedrops

But at least now I can finally show you guys this much...

Learning HTML and CSS, as everyone has already stated, are the best things to do. Start out simple -- just try putting a background colour in and setting a colour for your text, and work your way up to bigger or more complicated things.

HTML and CSS are fun to learn and you can do some really lovely things with them once you know what you are doing. Plus, layouts are a perfect way to learn too.

Or you could just use a layout maker.

Indeed it is And I might work on some more of the full piece later (at work now though) as I'm starting to feel a little more human again after the recent illness problems.
