Haha... I won Well, that's a first. Now I'll go back to ignoring the ACS again.

As for my site being down, uh, apparently a RAID array failed and had to be rebuilt, then the RAID controller failed.... All in all I think it's been down for a straight two days, possibly more by now. The host has said that they are working on it, but it has been taking a while. Sorry.

That's not what my chemistry teacher told me. (This was the same chemistry teacher that would throw fake rocks at her students, and rig a 2-liter bottle of mountain dew to squirt you when you open it)


Okay, but as a Surf Lifesaver (who may potentially have to deal with Jellyfish stings) I know that it's Vinegar required for some species. Most notably it's needed for the Chironex Box Jellyfish; as the acetic acid in vinegar disables any cells that have not yet fired their venom.

The goal of first aid in the case of a jellyfish sting is to get the tentacles off without them firing more venom. Urine may help "rinse" the area and get off the tentacles, but it's believed it may set off more venom in some species. Water and Vinegar are the only two things I am aware of that are recommended, and Vinegar is considered essential when dealing with the Chironex Box Jellyfish as its sting is often fatal.

I don't have nightmares much, I just have kinda freaky dreams. It's been a very long time since I've woken up all frightened because of one.

My "freaky dreams" tend to involve me dying a lot, generally in nasty ways (being slowly eaten alive or torn to shreds, etc). I can't remember a whole lot about the last one, except that I was fleeing what I think was multiple copies of myself... down a set of neverending stairs that as I went further down, became more heavily coated in blood spatter and unrecognisable shreds of human remains.

Not sure what the deal is with that.

9) Me before coffee in the morning, except that I don't hunger for flesh so much as I do for... well.. coffee.

But the lack of mental and motor functions as well as the inability to verbalise well are all definitely present.

See, in Australia, we have the Insurance Ombudsman Service which can help with complaint resolution in cases such as this.

I've tried to research to find a United States equivalent; but I keep getting Australian search results There has to be some kind of regulatory / mediatory / conflict resolution body.

See, my "scary" dreams don't so much scare me as much as they make me somewhat... uncomfortable. I'm not afraid, I'm a little bit weirded out by the snippets of gore and crazy my subconscious presents me with.

I am more disturbed by those dreams I have when I'm snoozing prior to getting up in the morning, in which I do things like miss the train to work, or dream that I've overslept. These dreams result in me suddenly just waking, sitting bolt upright in bed and going "OH SHIT" with my heart pounding. Then I usually realise I have not overslept and just wind up plain annoyed at the trick my brain played on me.

See, now I'm apparently not zombie-like when I'm extremely drunk, I'm too noisy, stupid and random.

Some of my recent hangovers however....

* staring out at the world through bloodshot, unfocused eyes, usually with one eyelid inexplicably more closed than the other and big, black rings around them
* skin pale, slightly greenish and clammy
* breath that smells of death.... (hangover Jack Daniels smells of death, trust me)
* body that smells pretty funky too due to sleeping in clothes
* clothes that are torn or stained (last time with blood, dirt and more Jack Daniels -- I fell over and skinned my knees and stuff)
* shuffling, because normal walking moves brain around too much in head causing vertigo, dizziness, headache
* pretty much zero mental function.
* only able to communicate in "ughhhhhhhh" noises

And yeah, hunger for flesh.... although by "flesh" I mean "crispy bacon" and it should be accompanied with eggs and toast, and a strong espresso.

Tatrion -- if you want to not sleep and don't care about ill effects, you could try amphetamines Nooooo sleep for you at all. Just a whole lot of crazy, and random, and the ability to be completely *transfixed* by anything remotely repetetive. (I have been witness to brother staying up for several days straight, getting repetetive and then becoming temporarily insane)

And YAY, I'm not on the ACS. Good thing too, it's too much bloody effort trying to maintain a lead.

I noticed that Sora has very big eyelashes or seems to in some scenes. He also gets down every time he can't find Riku or Kairi. The rest of the picture somehow came from there. Not great But oh well, I don't care, I'm going to bed.
