Well, I've been reading the bankruptcy stuff again:

with travel:
Any person who is an undischarged bankrupt must obtain written permission from their trustee to leave Australia.

The trustee of the bankruptcy may impose written conditions where consent is given to travel. This may include payment of any contributions liability as assessed before permission is granted (see current amounts for current income threshold amounts).

Failure to return to Australia when requested by the trustee can result in the bankruptcy being extended by a period of 5 years from a bankrupt's return.

Permission is not required once a person is discharged from bankruptcy or the bankruptcy has been annulled.


And then there's amount restriction on things, like tools
Tools
A bankrupt may keep tools used to earn an income up to a certain limit ($3 150*)

Vehicles
A bankrupt may keep vehicles (cars or motorbikes) used mainly for
transport up to a limit. This combined limit refers to the equity in the
vehicles (the value of the vehicles less the sum owing under finance). ($6 150*)


And Credit Limits
It is a criminal offence for a bankrupt person to obtain or attempt
to obtain credit in certain circumstances. Severe penalties apply
to these offences.


And things like your pay being docked to contribute toward the debt. And all around just not fun...

Eh, I just posted it cause this has been going on so long now I forget which parts are me whining and which parts are teh law.

Oh, and in exchange for all of the aforementioned stuff, I get protection from all debts that are mine or my ex's or whatever. I've been told that considering I don't have much, it may actually not be too bad for me to go bankrupt (my car is worth $700, it's a tad under the threshold) but I'd rather avoid it.

I want to own a home one day.

I do have Kingdom Hearts 2 now, but making a fuss over its Australian release in the Gaming forums is just crap considering it was something like 9 months after the rest of the world

D: Who needs to see what they're typing. I personally prefer to just type without seeing. Your way sounds like it'd take all the fun out of it.


Well, considering I was having some trouble hitting the correct keys on the keyboard, my way made sure I was typing english and not gibberish

Generally I don't need to see what I'm typing, but I make definite exceptions for when I'm that drunk...
