Agree with above. JPG compression is horrible. Choose a different format (ie, PNG) or recompress JPG to resolve image quality issue.

Loads slowly too, very slowly.

No, that is worse. Much worse.

BMP files are huge. The quality of the image is improved; but until you add your PNG files, I recommend not using your layout in posts yet, so that you don't lag others' in the meantime.

I've posted here drunk a lot more than most people know as well. I've mentioned that I've been drinking to a few people on AIM; and I've mentioned my drinking in a few posts, but the majority of my drunken posts go without me flagging them as such or anybody noticing.

There have been times where every post on here for several weeks has been a drunken one. Course, that was when I lived with housemates who insisted on feeding me beer when I came home from work....

Problem: I cannot log into the Application Portal. The page doesn't work right.
Actual Problem: Client is trying to log into a JPG.

Yeah, I took the call. It was from a rather distressed woman who thought that the web page wasn't working because she'd missed a deadline -- although there wasn't even a deadline as such.

There was however a date for a transition to a slightly upgraded system. An email was sent out to everyone about it, and the changes they should expect. It was this email that was the source of both the "deadline" and the "faulty login page"

We had included a screenshot of the page to let users know in advance what to expect. It was this screenshot that she was attempting to log into.

No, I don't blame Applications (author of the email) -- it says clearly that it is an example if the user had bothered to actually read the email properly They seem to have instead read selectively.

I've noticed that clients never seem to read the really important bits; they just seem to read the general information, and then panic over a minor, insignificant detail.
