| Well, I've had the last layout for...ever.. and ever... so I've been thinking about a new one. I really haven't had any ideas, but this little pic just magically came out of the end of my stylus while I was making drunken sketchies.
It's not finished, but it's finished enough that you more than get the idea. I have to finish off the black linework and cross-hatching shading (even though the hatching doesn't.. cross... so much) on the bottom part of the picture. I'm going to (try to) pattern the pants too -- the girl is based on me, and I wear pinstriped pants... I've tried to use as few colors as possible. Just grey, pink, black and white, with a seperate darker grey for the background. I'm considering adding some white highlights to the hair and to the heart, but I'll see how I go / how they look before making a final decision on whether that's going to end up on the final pic or not. Ah, it's been fun drawing something chibi and simple. Lately most of my drawing has been these very tiring pieces of artwork that have taken me hours and days to complete Yay for chibis! 
Well, enough talking, time to post the pic.  Should I use it in a layout? |

Yeah, I watch South Park. It airs on the Comedy Channel here a lot... a bit much actually, they repeat things entirely too much. I keep seeing the Paris Hilton episode a lot lately

The show's changed a lot from how it started out, both in terms of animation and comedic style, but I still enjoy it. I miss the Zombie episode (first season) though... I never get to see it, and I love that one, with the Worcestershire Sauce hotline and everything  Oh, and the Death one too

I'll tell you this -- it might hurt a bit, but you get used to it, and the pain does go away. You might look kinda geeky too, but that's temporary. But when it's done, your teeth will look fucking fantastic. And when you get over the Braces Habit of hiding your teeth when you smile, people will comment on how fantastic your smile is. So, it might be sucky for now, but when it's done, it's awesome.
As for things that people eat with braces, I actually didn't go out of my way to eat anything special when my braces were tightened or anything. Hell, I'd even eat chewy toffee on the bus ride home from the orthodontist. My Mum didn't go out of her way to prepare any special dinners for me when I got my braces tightened either, so even if it was sore I still had to eat my steak or whatever. Rubber bands are fun too. Mine used to unexpectedly snap when I was talking to people and fly out of my mouth -- ping!

See kids, this is why you don't drink and draw. I didn't even see the error till now; now that I've sobered somewhat.
wow... what a fuckup! That aside, I don't think I did too badly considering I'd had two beers, two glasses of red wine and a double scotch...

I fixed the additional finger. Now the hand looks better. However, I don't really know how to make the finger with the string around it look less like what Max said now. It's the sheer fact that the string is tied around the finger that causes that effect.... |

General rule of thumb is to google anything you think is suspicious. You should be able to easily find out what is malware and what isn't. I dunno what Zango is, but that's something I'd Google if I were you to find out if it's malware.

Personally, I think the image you used for your background is too big. It took a while to load on my (modestly quick) internet connection. Which means that anybody dialling up is going to have all sorts of problems (yes, there are still people who dial up to the internet...)

Where possible, it's always best to work with smaller images.

Yeah, lighten the text up or darken the background. I know what working on a laptop is like, the gamma/contrast/hue all change depending on the angle you're viewing your screen from so it's hard to tell with these things. I think you've done well though, just need to make it a little higher contrast with the text and all will be good |

Nothing exciting, just an attempt at "proper" chibi proportion (by that I mean that the body is supposed to be similar in height/size to the head... I usually draw the body bigger). Oh, and I wanted to do a chibi Ben Folds. <3
