| Diddy Kong Racing for the DS - My first N64 game, I absolutely adored it, and I could truly consider it as my favorite game of all time. Why do I want the DS version? Eight-player single-card and multi-card WiFi play, touch-screen and microphone compatibility, some familiar faces in newly playable form, remodelled and retextured tracks, customisable vehicles, new modes, weapons and challenges, a little something called TT's Wish Races where you can create your very own tracks... and it doesn't end there.
OMGZ, what else could I want...? Donkey Kong Barrel Jet Race for the Wii -Since the Rare buyout in 2002, Rare's long-awaited Donkey Kong Racing title for Gamecube has been scratched. Game developers PAON have decided to re-create a different DK Racing, originally entitled DK: Bongo Blast, but it has been moved to the Wii, confirmed as of 2 days ago. Sorry, but that's it. I guess I'm too big of a Donkey Kong fan. |

| Nintendo does not own anybody in this game outside of Diddy and Krunch. Since Rare is the developer, they can put in any of their characters that they want. However, they've probably excluded Banjo as a courtesy to Microsoft (so that a potential mascot of the Xbox isn't in a Nintendo mascot title) and Conker since Nintendo would want nothing to do with him. Tiptup, while haivng appeared in Banjo-Pilot as a cameo, hardly registers on the map, so Rare probalby felt safe including him. The others, from Timber to T.T., will probably never be seen outside of a Diddy Kong Racing-branded title again.
To sum all that up, the chances of Conker and Banjo appearing are slim to none. |

| Greetings, I'm Chainlink1061, have been ROM Hacking for nearly two years, and would appreciate it if I could post in the Super Mario World Forums. I have never been banned, warned, possessed a red name, flamed other members, or any of the such. One of the main reasons I want to be able to post in the forums, has to do with my true Super Mario World ROM Hack ready for release soon. As for past hacks: I haven't really contributed much in this catagory, but I had a hack almost complete before my hard drive crashed. I'm sure you've all heard of the saying "Don't wait 'til the last minute." or something along those lines, so I'm asking for approval in here, at this time, so I don't have to worry about it in the near future.
I should also note that I rarely ever ask questions, and spend a tremendous ammount of research before I ask for an answer. Thanks for your time. (edited by Chainlink1061 on 09-18-06 10:06 PM) |

| Yeah, I'd say it's helping. I've noticed fewer morons since the idea, and the idiots screaming, "why is smw in the crap section?" have also disappeared, since this is now in the "Normal Section". | |||

Also, this post wasn't meant to give you alot of shit, I was just curious. And no, I'm not volunteering. Sorry. |

| Crystal Chasm, from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. It sounds so mysterious, as if Rare knew the meaning of life and implemented it into this one song. I recommend at least hearing it, please. If you do, URL is underneath.

| The cliff theme in DKC3 is called Rockface Rumble in the in-game sound test, both SNES and GBA.
In DKC2 SNES, the mine theme is simply entitled 'Mines'. In DKC2 GBA, it was called Kannon's Klaim. Now, on the internet, it is commonly known as Mining Melancholy, but this was before DKC2 GBA. It's known as Mining Melancholy because it was NOT on the official DKC2 soundtrack CD. Hope that helps. |

| Ah, Mario Party for the Wii.... Sounds decent enough to happen, but what would be good about it? What could change it for the better? And before you read, note that I know that Hudson Soft develops the games, and not Nintendo.
*Tons of mini-games that rely on skill. I miss games like Locked Out from MP3 that were pure skill, now we're getting these "pick a rope, with a 1/4 chance of getting first place" mini-games that don't even make sence. *Something unique. Party 1 had Mini-game Stadium, 2 had Costumes to match the board achetype, 3 had Duel Mode, 4 had 1-player Mini-games, 5 had Robot Battles, 6 had the Mic, and 7 had Eight-player Mini-games. The Wiimote might most likely fit into this catagory, but something else would be nice. *NO PETEY PIRANHA! Somehow, Nintendo finds a way to get this little bastard into every cameo game. Please keep the characters the way they are. If anything, bring back Donkey Kong as a playable character, we miss him. *And please kill Toadsworth. I don't wanna hear some old guy say, "Capital! What an excellent choice!" and stuff like that, I actually miss Toad as a non-playable character. Sorry if the read's a little dull, I wrote it at 1:38am. |

| Fuck, I found one with 5 minutes of using pure GOOGLE. It's not that hard, buddy, really. The longest it's ever taken me to find a ROM was 2 hours, and that was for the GBA ROM, It's Mr. Pants. | |||

| Hello, does anyone know of a Gameshark code for Banjo-Kazooie that eliminates the sound effects?
What I could really use would be a code that turns off the sound-effects layer, or a mod for the bubble sound when Banjo is underwater. Or one that gives me control over the channel selector; anything along those lines would be excellent. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and before anyone asks, I have searched everywhere for it; even rarewitchproject.com, a site dedicated to hacking the Banjo games. -Chainlink1061 (edited by Chainlink1061 on 10-08-06 05:23 AM) |

| I use them semi-often, but not alot. In games like Super Mario RPG and Donkey Kong Land, I use them quite frequently, but in other games like Tetris and Mario Party, I don't use them, for the sake of it being cheap.
While ROM hacking, on the other hand, I use them every second practically, but I haven't been ROM hacking recently, I believe I might have a new hobby. |

| Hiya, Acmlm and Friends.
I'd first allow me to introduce myself: I'm Chainlink1061, a regular member, who's never had his account banned, name changed red, warned by a staff member, etcetera. I'd like to apply for the position of being able to post in the ROM Hacking section of the forums, if it's okay with our Mods and Admins, of course. I know that in the past, some of my posts weren't the smartest posts in the world, but I now (as in after I posted the stupid posts) know that it not only annoys members and gives the staff more work, but it makes me look a dumbass. I've seen the error of my ways, and I'd like to prove it by being able post in the ROM Hacking section of the boards. Thank you for your time. |

| When I saw that both Super Mario World Hacking and ROM Hacking needed Approval, I thought I needed to create a thread for each. I also saw a "Another Approval Request!" thread nearby, so that confirmed my actions.
I had no intentions of being stupid, I'm sorry. |

| I'm not sure if this is normal for my 15 year-old self, but on many occasions, I feel as if I'm going to bore myself to death. I'm bored pretty much all the time, every day, even when I'm doing something entertaining, such as using the computer, playing a video game, or watching something on TV. The only times I'm not bored is when I'm at school, with friends, etc.
This has been happening since about September 2005. I feel that this time and age is the most boring ever; others might, but I'd rather be dead right now than to live and breathe for another moment. It may sound like I'm suicidal, but I'm not. I just can't stand being bored, and I don't know how to fix that at the moment. On topic, I guess I haven't really been happy today. Anyone know how to fix that? |
