| Adric smiles. They got to see their weapons turned against them once, and they continued with very similar attacks. Focusing hard on the incoming projectile, he manages to cause it to come to a stop fully, letting it hover in midair. He raises his right hand into the air, as if throwing something. Above his hand a column of runes takes shape, rotating slowly and giving off an insistant hum. It forms a chain between Adric and the now-deadweight attack, which shoots downwards and away from him. The several-inch thick column follows, ready to crush an entire rank of the enemy... Or maybe not. It stops a few feet above them, shooting out a barrage of generic magic sparks towards the robotic army.

You're lying to me. The Seymour song is indeed harder than Yu Yevon, and with fewer feet. My problem is that someone else stepped the same music file, and it's one of my oft-played songs, so I try to go along with a completely different instrument selection, resulting in complete and total failure. With a big gray-blue gradient. Sigh. So I registered at BMS (Why did I want to abbreviate it as BS?) and submitted the file I like the most that I've made... Shield your eyes from the crappy MS-Paint'ed banner: 
Incidentally, I had to get my own screencap for that. No Google for me. 
Now to hope fervently against pure crap... *concentrate*... |

| Heh, whenever I bother to check it's adds for anime or IRC. Also WoW gold and FFXI Gil.
If they're selling ROMs on Google it's a bazillion homemade ones of the same game with very minor modifications. I don't care either, just like the other people in this thread who care enough to post about it. |

Corona responds with his own telepathy... It's easier to maintain if a sudden shapechange is needed, and he's reasonably certain it's expected of him. "Proving?... No, I wanted Schwa to think that, at first. Mostly I was trying to get a good spar out of it, and see how he'd fared in Delaga Ex. Dimensional travel changes people... I needed to be sure I still knew Schwa. But I'm not as powerful as you think... I can only use my abilities at the expense of my life energy. It's mere coincidence that my lance triggered his memories... if it hadn't, he could have defeated me, there and then. Nice meeting you, Emily. Sure, I'll have a go at fighting you... Don't expect an easy victory." Corona stops charging energy, then begins to spin his spear at very high speed in unusual ellipses. It leaves a slowly-fading trail of blue embers where it goes, forming patterns of first an eight-petalled flower, then a Sun complete with sunbeams, then an exact replica of the mountains behind him... It's unclear why he's doing this... |

| Adric gives an internal laugh. It's time to go melee... Dropping the energy column back into his hand (which drops the shiny, crystal-forming thing right on the heads of some Reploids), he takes a few steps away from the incoming Walker, feigning fear as he holds one hand behind him to hide his preparation. This takes very little time, and Adric suddenly makes a giant leap straight at the assulter-to-be that seems to defy his old age. In his right hand he holds a ball of white energy, which he thrusts forward as he rapidly approaches...
"White Dragon Spear!" (ooh, echo effects!) An enormous (5ft radius) white laser shoots out from inside the sphere, potentially nuking the living slag out of the mech. He doesn't let the overflow energy go to waste, though, quickly moving it around behind him and forming it into a portal. Kicking off the mech (or the ground, if he missed/totally obliterated it), he passes by the portal long enough to reach a hand in and pull out a thick blue book, the gateway closing afterwards. Landing lightly on his feet where he started, Adric lets out a wild laugh, filled with the vigor of battle... |

| "Legions, eh? I've fought a few in my time..."
As Corona swings the lance around him, his physical composition begins to change. Every tiny piece of his body is gradually changed from matter to energy, a very specific kind of energy... Reformed shapeshifters have a type of morphic memory. Everything they're exposed to leaves an imprint on their souls and bodies. Through strict discipline, they can learn to adapt to any form they've experienced. What happens now is that right before the ether washes over him, the entirety of himself and his lance have been transformed into nearly identical ether, still in the same shape. Who knows if that sort of defense will work... Either way, he switches back right after the attack, and charges another round of energy into his still-whirling spear. |

And you admit in a message box that your boxes look crappy, yet you state here that you're better at graphics than levels. From your subpar graphics and subsubpar levels, I'd have to agree. |

| Corona allows himself to be drawn in, waiting until the last possible instant before suddenly morphing into a swarm of bees. Emily passes right through the cloud the first time, because each bee flies out of the way on its own, but on the jump backwards Corona is back in human form whirling several feet of sharpened, multidimensional gemstone just waiting to take a slice out of an ethereal fox.

| "Hahahahahahaha! Keep on coming!"
Snapping open his spellbook, Adric begins to chant in a forbidden language, using many syllables that have no written equivalents. As he does so, he reaches out with his mind, feeling the shape, the texture, the power of the beam sabers around him. Never seen anything like this before... but there's a first time for everything. He begins to channel the energy out of the weapons and through the air towards him, visible as red, blue, and green mists spiraling away from the Mavericks inwards to Adric at insane speeds. The sight from above is truly amazing, but doesn't last long. He stops drawing power from the swords, allowing the captured energy to coalesce into an iridescent multicolored pool at his feet, which immediately rises up into the air, condensing into a sphere just a few inches across floating above his head. Adric continues to chant, though now when he speaks there is not sound, but its opposite. Carefully enunciated silences fill the air as the globe of power shrinks, becoming more and more dense in preparation for an attack... |

"This thing? Nah, there's no way this will be sufficient for a battle with you. It's just here to facilitate shapeshifting, oh, and, almost forgot, it's also here for THIS." Corona hurls the spear high into the air, the momentum of the spin sending it faster than the speed of sound. Before the sonic boom has time to happen, though, Corona jumps after it, his body bursting into flame, arms extanding into wings, feet to talons, skin to flaming feathers... He's flying as a Phoenix straight into the beginnings of an enormous wave of wind. He disappears for an instant as the entire area turns a soft pink... and for almost three seconds, nothing happens. Then the explosion comes. A gigantic shockwave of burning wind washes over the arena, seemingly uncontrolled... until one realizes that it's completely missing both Schwa and the shrine, and none of the grass is being burned- The entirety of the attack is focused on Emily and the air nearby... Corona reforms out of the air, dropping down lightly on the green grass waving peacefully to its friends, the clouds. The spear is still going up, and is soon lost to sight. Probably a few minutes before it hits the ground again, and for now Corona is just going to wait and see how his opponent deals with this Schwa-inspired attack. |

The missiles get closer and closer... It looks as if Adric is actually going to take some hits!... But then, just as one of them is about to touch him, the sphere above him vanishes and reappears around him, expanded and hollow. One after another, the missiles crash into the shield, releasing their explosions safely on the ourside. Each explosion's mana is sucked back into the shield, storing even more power. The eerie anti-chanting continues as the sphere very quickly floats high into the air, carrying Adric along with it. He now has a bird's eye view of the city square, complete with the enormous portal. It occurs to him how amazingly outnumbered they are, and yet none of the enemy has made it past them... His allies must truly be superior. And why is Schwa only using charged abilities? On that note, he notices the reploids attacking Schwa. Why doesn't he defend himself? Arghhh, it'll take Forever to get off this attack at this rate... Adric makes a few dramatic gestures with his free hand, barely visible at such distance, and a circle of ground a few feet away from Schwa erupts in flame. These flames curve over each other, quickly forming a short cylinder, then a dome before solidifying into some type of crystal. It doesn't last very long, but it'll protect Schwa for two turns. After that, he's on his own... |

| I still don't matter, really. No one knows anything about me, aside from the *active* roleplayers and whoever got Twinkle Star Raped. And even a few people I've Rp'd with posted in this thread, yet I remain without noteworthiness. I'm gonna cry. Then I'm gonna kill you all. You're all gonna die. Squirrely wrath.
Of course, this means I don't really know anyone else either... meh. People here are generally nicer than people at other places, and there seems to be just the right amount of nerdiness. Although, Kyouji and some others who aren't as memorable are the best assholes ever. I've lost track of the number of times I've taken their advice when it wasn't aimed at me, and it's done wonders for my self-esteem. You guys rule, never change. Oh, and you all down in Story, you guys roxxorz. Nothing else needs saying. There was a time when I called BMF God. I'd like to think that I'm more emotionally mature now; I now firmly believe that I am God. Thanks you all for clearing that up for me. Right, so I'ma go do something useless, or shelve a project, or maybe some DDR. |

| "Hmm, did Schwa tell you about Adric? He tought me some things..."
Corona raises one hand above his head, and immediately siphons out every tiny bit of his mana into a black bubble high in the sky, seeming to block out the sun. The attack strikes... and doesn't suck any mana, or drain any health, due to a complete lack of any mana to target. "Well done. Were it not for a bit of combat precognition, I wouldn't have been able to counter that. Now... How about we do some evening of the odds? Four on four?" He then leaps high into the air, his body collapsing into an amorphous blob at the very top of his jump. As it falls, it separates into four pieces, each one expanding outwards into something different. The first takes the form of a mechanical suit of medieval-era full plate armor wielding a substantial, sharp, and shiny silver sword, aiming a falling thrust at the first of the ethereal foxes. The second is in the shape of a tall man with a blue mask over his face, protected by a suit of flexible green metal armor, and wielding a lance of absurd proportions aimed directly towards the second of the Zraku. The third takes the guise of a teenage boy clothed in odd, age-old leather, a red cap almost covering his short blond hair. He carries a black ebony longbow, with which he takes aim and fires a bright blue arrow at the third "Emily." And finally, the fourth blob morphs into a huge space-age missile, tracking down the last target. Corona's voice comes from all three of his humanoid morphs... "All right then. Which one is me?" |
