It flies into his right hand as though by magic, and he parries the first swiping attack from the spinning blades. This gives him enough time to slip in between them, into the circle. He goes for a strong, full thrust as he steps forward, trying to impale Jack at point-blank range. However, this isn't as well thought out as he had hoped, as the blades circle faster than he anticipated. He takes three bad slices to the back, but doesn't seem to flinch from them. | |||

I like exploding furbies. Because once, a friend of mine got one as a birthday present, and it would say things like "I looove you!" in the middle of the night. So he took out the batteries. It didn't work. The furbie kept proclaiming that it was enamored with my friend. He hit it with a jackhammer. Then I told him to microwave it. | So this was a good idea for a thread, but it was poorly executed. For one thing, there was waaaay too much fucking. It was generally so aggressive in nature that people could quite likely keep their layouts the way they are, or even deliberately make sucky ones, just out of spite for your attitude. I felt a rebellious urge to, anyway.
Oh. People here have below-average intelligence, you say. Wow. I could hazard a guess that either you haven't been around the internet much, or you didn't start paying attention to stupidity until you came here. So... I get annoyed by people's layouts. Yeah, we need blocklayout back. But I fail to see what this thread could achieve. But completely aside from that, a little while ago I had a layout with a marquee in it. This is a good time to ask, I think, does that piss people off? I also had four userbars in it, because they were being marquee'd. So just, was that layout sucky? |

| I would definitely kill the stupid people. But then there would be the slight problem of what if I'm smarter than a vast majority, say 98% (yeah, I'm THAT arrogant), of the people worldwide? It's quite possible that the resulting smart people might not be numerous enough to keep the human race going, especially when you consider that they're probably spread out pretty evenly over the surface of the planet, and it would be hard to travel when there aren't nearly as many people to service airplanes or automobiles.
However, I would probably find this preferable to keeping the stupid ones. At the time I would probably decide that humanity is better off nonexistant than full of idiots, and only idiots. At least there would be a sharp decrease in the possibility of nuclear war. But either way, it would cripple modern society. We rely heavily on both the intellectuals and the dumb masses to hold together an economy in which new products will be designed, manufactured, and sold... And without an economy there would be no modern conveniences. So the quality of life would fall sharply, until either the population went up again or, as could happen, the smart people create a robotic workforce. That's another reason for keeping the literati; they'd have an easier recovery with their amazing (duh, they're smarter than ME) brains. So yeah, the stupid shall die. |
