Ok, I'll be honest with you all. I don't like waiting either. I have been waiting for a year + one month. But guess what? This waiting has made me learn how to modify sm64, it has given me much potential, and this waiting has let me find other things to do for personal intertainment. Vl-tone is a man of expectations. We expect that he will finish at least the beta and release it publically, so he will. It might take forever for him to do it and to perfect it, but he will do it. He will bring this to a finish. Have faith in this. Now enough off topic, and lets get active! |

| So that means tell us about yourself...
I first entered the forum (290 days ago), because I was genuinly interested in sm64 hacking. My first modifications of super mario 64 were attained through RAM editing (aka gameshark code), and I worked up to behavior address editing. Currently I'm taking a break from super mario 64 to work on my game-
I'm proficient at gml (game maker language) and I am learning C# right now. I hope to tackle java in the future, and to make commercial Xbox 360 games with XNA sdk. My biggest dream is to make a super mario 64 level editor. ____________ Okay, I hope that's enough info for you to decide. And once again, thank you. |

| It really is a shame that our v-twin riding, vl-tone playing, director macromedia flash programming, isometric zaxxon inspired, meteroid/sm64 fan has gone missing.
However, I refuse to believe that he is dead or injured until his website goes down. But until his return, goodbye. It was nice knowing all of ye h4xx3rs. And bng, sorry for quarelling with you that one time, your not a black hat cracker. And maybe they really do use voxels to draw sprites....

I searched through 71 pages to find those, so you had better laugh! EDIT Ok, I'm not completely gone. Still waiting for replies.... It's so hard to leave. Someone by the name of "aaron" has informed me via email that the download link for "super mario 64 text wrangler mac version" has gone down (vl-tone, please don't use rapid share!). And since I don't have the copy myself, may someone that has it (raccoon sam perhaps) please upload it on acmlm, and send the download link to megaman5462@yahoo.com. I would really appreciate it. This doesn't really relate to sm64 hacking.... But I'm someone who cares about educating helpless people with computer basics. So your abliged to let me go with this.
@ mortal: ---- RGB, what it is ---- All the colors that you see on your computer screen are made from a combination of- Red, Green, and Blue. This combination is called RGB. There are 255 (counting 0) possible red, green, and blue. So the brightest color would be- 255 (red), 255 (green), 255 (blue). This brightest color is white. And the lowest color would be 0 (R) 0 (G) 0 (B). The lowest color is black. If you wanted a blue color you would have: 0, 0, 255 But this is in numbers, what we need is hexidecimal values. So you convert using these aglorinths~ Number-Hex aglorinth: 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, 9-9, 10-A, 11-B, 12-C, 13-D, 14-E, 15-F. Hex-Numbers aglorinth: (x1*16)+x2 For example, if you had a hex color.... Hex Color example: 00 FE 00 Apply the aglorinth: 00 (F*16)+E 00 Then we substitute: FE = (15*16) + 14 = 254, And finally we have: 0 254 0. This is a color that is almost completely green. 0 255 0 is the "complete" green. To get the complete green you would go: 00 FF 00. Convert that using the aglorinth, and you have 0 255 0. If you wanted black you would go: 00 00 00, which is 0 red 0 green 0 blue In summary: 00 FF 00 is green. 00 00 00 is black. 00 00 FF is blue. FF 00 00 is red. FF FF FF is white. There are lots of programs online with which you can select colors in hex. So it's okay if you don't understand all of this.
