Slipknot's Disasterpiece. The live one from 9.0, the CD is pretty good.

edit| Now I'm listening to Purity.
edit| Now Despise by Slipknot from their self titled re-release w/demos and remixes. Despise was later redone into a song called Purity.

I play the guitar. Mostly speed, but I can't join a band around here because everyone around here likes either rap or country

I have...
A Peavey EXP (Limited Edition)
An Alvarez Dreadnought Acoustic
A digitech Multi-effect processor + a Dan-Electro Grilled Cheese (Mmmm... cheese) Pedal
And a fender squire P-Bass

If you could post any demos or recordings, it would be nice too.

I took classes for about 3 weeks, I hated it. The dude wanted me to learn Classical. I can't stand playing scales or overused chords, to many other bands do it (see Green Day ) I'm trying to develop my own style so it will be unique and stand out.

Actually I haven't looked in a single guitar book, so I can't help you there, sorry. I just listen to a band that inspires me and then try and become faster and heavier than them.

If you want to learn some tabs then I'd suggest http://www.ultimate-guitar.com, they have a pretty big selection.

I've only played on keyboards, and I suck. But adding a wah pedal to the ginger bread man is awesome

Cause guitars are badass . I've been playing for about 3 1/2 years. I can also play bass and want a drum set badly.

I've read one of the books. I hated it, I'm pretty sure the movie or game won't intrest me.

My God, me loves them Time to go CD shopping! And the vocals are actually really cool to me, but the guitars have me really going.

I usually get everything I can, old or new. I like to make a collection so I can see the bands progress over time.

Ohhhhhh Noooooes! No more movies based on games. Everyone of them have turned out to be complete shit (haven't seen DOOM yet, but from what my friends say... I kinda don't want to) A Halo movie, why the hell? Games should stay games and movies should stay movies, don't mix the two! MC, Samus, Link... all will be destroyed. I can just see them doing StarFox or Sonic too. Ahhh!

Sons of Plunder - Disturbed

It rocks. Has a good meaning, it speaks out against how people use music for money. It talks about how the music industy hires clones of the same BS, and neglect those who stand out. Other than that the song rocks, but whatelse do you expect to come from Disturbed , every song from Believe and Ten Thousand Fists is awesome (The Sickness has a couple of good songs on it too).
