What the hell, you guys. Megaman 7 is easy shit, even the final boss.

Now, the original NES games, I can't stand those. I absolutely suck at all of them. Maybe I just don't have the skill...

Johnathan: "You are a stubborn one..."

He snaps his fingers, and a block of ice bursts from the ground, encasing itself around Diaxos' feet and pinning him to the spot.

"Fine. You can battle me right there. Where you stand. It's clearly what you want, correct?"

He looks back, with a glimmer in his eye.

Grey: "Grr... not so fast! PK Fire Beta!!!"

His eyes flashing brightly, Grey unleashed a psychic sleight that resulted in jets of flames firing out of his fingers. He used the heat to incinerate the ice in the air around him and reduce the layer of ice on the ground to nothing more than a puddle of muddy water. Turning his attention to Kirbynite himself, Grey pointed his fingers and the still-going jets of fire (it had been about five seconds now) at Kirb, sending the last of the propane-powered portion of pain at his pink pugilizing pal.

Johnathan: "Tactics, 101.

He leaps into the air and vanishes!

"Never let your opponent..."

From all around Diaxos, the sheer humidity of the Barrens' hot air solidifies as a cold wind blows around him. Suddenly, hundreds of tiny ice shards come flying at him, like a sea of a thousand needles!

"Get the first shot!"

But the needles melt in the air as Johnathan's tactic shows its true nature: A diversion, allowing Johnathan himself to reappear in front of Diaxos, a large, razor-sharp spear of ice aimed at Diaxos' heart! It's plain to see that this man is not going for an innocent spar...

Kalar: "Alternatively..."

Garro: "We could just investigate where the energy is actually going."

Two figures fell from the skies of Amber Metropolis and landed on the ground with a muffled thudding noise. Kalar, his suit tattered and scythe slung over his back, grinned that creepy grin he always wore, as the usually reserved Garro pulled his coat around himself and harumphed.

Kalar: "Saw the mana spike. We figured a guy like you'd show up at some point here, Schwa. Is it really in our nature to NOT run around places like this?"

There's an Exceed machine at my local arcade. It makes no money at all for a damn good reason.

I absolutely hate Pump, I'm not a fan of how you have to move your body around to get the beats right, and I think it's more for flash than it is for actual speed. With DDR, you've got to be really fast, and while you have to be fast in Pump, the addition of a fifth button and the fact that the pad is much larger means that overall, songs will be a lot slower in order to compensate for people who want to play but can't step on the pads without jumping from sensor to sensor. With Pump, most of the stuff you learn from DDR makes no fucking sense, and I much prefer the song selection in DDR anyway.

So yeah, Pump sucks. DDR and ITG win.

And Spel, congratulations! You prove to the world how much further I have to go.

Johnathan: "That is the idea, fellow. Fight like you need to!"

Johnathan's attack is relentless: He forms a shard of ice in his hand, and it splits into multiple discs, each one sharper as a sawblade, hurling them in easily predictable patterns at Diaxos. Why wasn't he attacking? Johnathan pondered, and began to add a bit of touch and flash to his moves. There had to be more to this than he thought at first...

Kalar: "This doesn't really make much sense..."

The chaos erupted around Kalar and Garro, and they just kinda looked on as everyone around them began completely annihilating everything that moved.

Garro: "That's true, but if I were you I'd just quit being such a stick in the mud. Chances are, we're just pawns in some bigger scheme here anyway."

Garro pulled out one of his pistols and nonchalantly fired a large blast of holy energy through the shield and into a crowd of reploids, aiming to take out about a ten-foot wide chunk of them right then and there.

Kalar: "Bigger scheme?"

He pointed his finger, and a bolt of lighting streaked out of the tip of it as his eyes glowed red, taking in the ideas and properties of all of the moves everyone around him was using. They'd come in handy sooner or later...

"You're still on that faith thing, huh?"

Garro: "It's why I'm here. Schwa knows something I need to know. It may be the only way to bring him back, is to observe the Life Aspects and see where the hole is."

Kalar grimaced. Explosions shot up and around the battlefield, as he snapped his fingers and a shot of ice, Sion-Blizzara-Style, shotgunned at another group of bots.

Kalar: "Eh, I dunno... What I'm really concerned about is that guy with the cards. He just pulled a Four Of A Kind and called it a Royal Straight Flush."

Garro: "You think he's played poker?"

Kalar: "If he hasn't, we're all fucked."

Grey: "Sky... Hope you can hold your breath."

Grey sank back down into the depths, pushing a bubble of water away from himself and giving him some room to breathe.

(muffled) 'So.... Can't see a thing down here.'

He peered around a little more. With the bubble surrounding him, Grey had a shaken, distorted view of the water. He liked it a lot more when he could see, that was for sure. Grey wiped some water from his glasses, and did his best with what he had.

First, make sure your mouse sensitivity is at the lowest. A good player uses these settings. With an IDF-Defender or any machine gun, crouch down and shoot the bottom of your enemy and work your way to the head. When you get up, shoot, strafe, shoot, strafe. Keep going and you should get a good shot. I've played the old one for 5 years and the new one for about a year now. Those basics can go a long way.

wtf are you being serious if so then you fucking suck

hint: aim for the head

Step one: Crouch.
Step two: Bring crosshair towards head/torso.
Step three: In moderated, short bursts, proceed to blow target's head to shit.

Mouse sensetivity should ALWAYS be at least 1/2 to 2/3 of the way to the maximum, unless you have like, a square yard of space to move around in. It takes a little getting used to, but the overall increase in reaction speed and turn time is worth it. I've been nipped from behind more times than I can count because I wasn't fast enough to 180 and blow my foe's head off.

UT2k4 is where it's at, people. That and Half Life 2. And of course, the finest WWII series in the lot, Call of Duty. Counter Strike, Medal of Honor, and Battlefield 1942 really don't do it for me. I'm especially repulsed by BF1942. And for all of you BF fans, I ask you this: Have you ever played Battlefield 1982? I had a very bad experience with it, and I have decided that I definitely don't like the BF engine.

Though, I have to admit, driving an AT-AT is pretty fun in Battlefront. Even if the entire game is just a direct rip of 1942 with Star Wars maps.

GREY: MARTIAN SUCCESSOR NADESICO STYLE ACTIVATE

Grey: "I'll explain!"

He pops up from out of nowhere with a white lab coat and a large projector screen, a considerable touch-up from his earlier use of easels and badly drawn stick figures. This one's got CGI!

"Check this out: You're only gonna get to the new building if you take a shuttle that's been placed at the roof of the old building. It makes stops every three days, even though the trip only lasts about seventeen seconds. Why?"

He clicks a small button, which switches the current image from a longshot of the ruined building to a closeup of the shuttle pilot, a tall, skinny fellow with a bottle of rum in his hand, a baseball cap, and a goatee. If he had an angry face on, he'd be much more recognizeable. A golden feeling emitted from him subconsciously.

"Because this guy's lazy, drunk, and barely active. I think it's all the rampant sex in his outside life. In any case, once every three days. And the next shuttle is due to arrive in....."

He checked his watch.

"Four hours. THERE ARE TOO OPTIONS FOR YOU. Either stay here and become the new masters of a dead, abandoned building (which I'd suggest you not do, for various reasons), or come to the golden new world of happiness and cream soda. Also, objectivity. And nonopressive authority. And equal opportunity."

Nearly forgetting himself, Grey remembers the other part of the deal...

"Ah, right, no teleporting. You do that, you're probably gonna kill yourself. The corrupted data around the building and the dead mySQL core means that teleporting around anywhere outside the SB and SF areas will probably get you a broken link, resulting in a dead end. And by dead, I mean dead. Elevators are broken, too. Have fun."

Grey: "Bad idea there, Bel. Flying through the walls will only result in the building collapsing on you. Think about it: Do you really want the archives to be destroyed because you want to get to the roof?"

He gestured towards the ceiling and around the room.

"Plus, look at this place. Considering its size, I don't think even YOU can survive being crushed by its mass, if you DO damage the structural integrity of the building enough to cause it to collapse. Oh, and..."

He glances at his watch again.

"Three hours, fifty-five minutes."

In a quick movement, Kalar grabbed the head of the advancing reploid, pulled the 'bot behind him, and brought the blade of his scythe upward for a swift cut aimed at removing the reploid's head from his shoulders. Assuming it hit, he closed his eyes and began to organize... All of the reploids were in the same category of power level, status, energy manipulation, and style of attack...

In short, it was all useless junk, save for the fighting style, which he remembered for defensive purposes. He forgets about it, and recalls Spider's card tricks. Useful.

Garro spun his pistol around in his hand, holstered it, and clenched his fist, watching it glow bright with holy energy as he brought it around behind Kalar for a crushing finishing blow to the recently-tossed-and-possibly-beheaded reploid adversary.
