He nonchalantly began to circle the fake hero, and started pointing out the inaccuracies of his costuming... "Firstoff, you're using the Ocarina of Time suit, which has not only been replaced by the Twilight Princess official art, but is also a poor representation of the link that Miyamoto's wanted for the longest time. But that's just opinion talking. Second, your tights are all wrong, this isn't Link to the Past, he actually wears pants now. The design on the Hylian shield is wrong, the boots go too high (though you're probably just short), the hookshot is on the wrong side of the belt..." Very little on the costume escaped Grey's scrutiny, but he wasn't aiming to displease... As he circled around the ghost continuously, he casually brushed his foot outward, and with the heel of his shoe, flipped the switch on the ghost's N64. The red light on the front went out... "...Really, if you're going to cosplay, at least try to make it good. I don't care if you're fat or thin or tall or short, but you have to at least have some accuracy! My goodness! This is going in the records..." |

But yeah, obvious solution, ex girlfriend + bitch + rumors = be the bigger man here. You don't seem like a bad guy, and you can turn away from people easily. Saying no is the hardest part, but you've already done that so there's no reason for you to suffer any more for it. |

The most noticeable change, however, was in his saber, which had become a heavy warhammer with a wide, mallet-like head. The maul glowed with a sky-blue light, and the man swung it forward, knocking each successive blast away and to his left and right sides. The final blast he charged into and met head on, letting it wash over him and incinerate him completely. He came out of the conflict a charred, battered corpse, one that was missing several vitally important limbs. The man lay on the ground, the hammer glowing brightly beside him. | OOC: Forte, until further notice I'm officially limiting you to a maximum of four fights you start on your own in here. It's getting to the point where you're almost spamming. Keep in mind as well that this is still one more than the standard unspoken number of fights a person is allowed to participate in.
I understand that you want to get as much story out of this place as possible, but it explicity states in the original Sim Battle rules that there should be a limit on how many fights a battler participates in at any one time, and in spite of the stagnant nature of the arena as of late, I would like muchly for it to remain sane. Once you've finished a fight elsewhere, I'll be glad to reopen this for you. |

...Nothing. For all intents and purposes, the being was dead. Completely. No signs of life from him whatsoever. If he had an HP bar, it'd read in the negatives. And well he should be, too! He was missing a leg, half of his head, a large chunk of his left forearm... There was blood everywhere, quite the gruesome sight. But what was very odd about the blood was that it was coming from wounds that had been cauterized by the large energy blasts...

I just wanted to put in a plug for HH's idea, that sounds like an awesome feature. It'd make things easier for a lot of threads: An expanded version could feature logs of threads you've posted in, or threads you've chosen to mark via the favorites feature...

OOC: Schwa's Alpha Psibeam is not a pure-hit move. He's clarified this many times, and he refuses to make any move in his arsenal an ensured-hit move, as he has always believed in the spirit of the simbattle lying in unorthodox style acceptance of attacks. The fact that it always hits is a testament to the respect given him by the rest of the simbattle community in its heyday. That was infraction 1.

Infraction 2 was this entire battle. Forte, if you have any issues with the manner in which one of your opponents is conducting himself, do yourself a favor and ask me to step in next time, please? Otherwise it becomes clear that both parties just plain stop having fun...

OOC: Let's try something different, today...

Grey: "Ugh, errands, errands, errands, errands, errands..." Grey fell falling through the sky about to land on the roof of the Acmlm's Board Building, his usual outpost to the world outside Neo Grape Gardens. The wind whipped against his face and clouds moistened his clothes as he plummeted through them, staring blankly through his misted glasses at a piece of paper that clung for dear life to his fingers in the cutting breeze. Terminal velocity felt weird, as usual. He slowed to a stop on the concrete roof and jumped off the top again, falling this time to the city streets, just as usual. He almost tripped on one of the headstones of the rooftop balconies as he jumped, as usual. Hanging upside down in his descent, he looked at a little laundry list of supplies. "Lessee, need a duster, some AAs, a gallon of milk, some cereal (Lucky Charms sounds good about now), light bulbs..." Grey was refurbishing his recently-discovered new home in Marble Garden... After the Acmlm’s Board Building was demolished and rebuilt, Grey was given a new office in the Sim Battle Arena, which he quickly discarded in favor of going out and adventuring on his own, leaving the residents of the Arena in shambles and the employees in the Cafeteria without someone to hand out their paychecks. However, he still didn't have a place to live, so rather than hang out in the janitor's closet or the Cafeteria pantry, like he did the last time he was rendered homeless, Grey moved in with Kirbynite. Living in the Dreamlander’s home was nice and dandy, but he didn't really want to be a burden on Kirbynite while there was so much to be done around the house. Sure, he helped, but agriculture... Well, it wasn't his thing. For some reason nobody seemed to understand that ice was just as good for precipitation as rain. He sure as heck couldn't cook (who knew PK Fire could cause so much damage?), and the fish never bit either. Instead of leeching off of Kirbynite forever, Grey moved out. Grey moved out of Kirbynite’s house and into his own little fortress of solitude, the Marble Gardens. It was a stroke of luck: He found the place on a very recent adventure that involved a good bit of madness and some shiny emeralds. Plus, he DID like marbles. It was very well-suited for him. He took his bed (actually one of Kirbynite's spares), his dresser (actually Chuchu's), and a few lamps (Rick would never notice), and his TV and gaming consoles (or were they Pitch's? He could never remember) and up and left the place. A few transmutations and the excavation of a particularly lavish cave later, and he was wired for sound. The Dreamlanders never knew their stuff was missing. Much shifting of the eyes left and right was involved. There was just one more thing on his list that he knew he'd need... "Ah! A refrigerator! Then it'll be perfect!" There was only one of those in the Nite household. Grey slammed down on the pavement and clenched his teeth against the agonizing pain his knees felt from the landing, and walked away from his cracked crater much to the astonished glances of passerby. There was a Best Buy right down the street. Perfect. OOC: Now, you decide what comes next. Seriously. I got nothing here. It's your job to continue the story.
